I think also by requiring the full documents the actual intake at CIO is vastly reduced. Reputedly they had many applications under the pre-June-26 "fast track" system that actually withdrew their application once they were given 120 days to provide supporting evidence.EnvioZA said:Dear sasi6174 ,
You are right that we submitted all the DOCs.
The difference is that CIO can check completness at a glance by looking at all your docs, which they had to by VO in 2 to 3 steps. It must help them to minus uncomplete applications quickly. Which will in turn remove backlog and make process faster. Therefore once your application is passed by CIO you are almost through.
Now, What will be the job for VO ?? I guess they have their share too.
I just hope, VO will take less time to do whatever they are there to do. But we have to see how less time they really take.

Yes I also think it's better way to handle.Cappuccino said:I think also by requiring the full documents the actual intake at CIO is vastly reduced. I think it's better this way since CIO's time isn't wasted by people without adequate experience or with insufficient funds etc.

Hi, the previous projection was around 8055, so it's gone up.Cam1234 said:Hi Wayne:
Just curious, after updating, did you have to increase or decrease your previous projections?
Thanks,

Yes Canady the word FINAL is key here. Let's see, before June 26 you would submit an application to CIO, they would check to see what your employment was and determine whether it was eligible under the ministerial rules for the NOC you have applied for. If yes, they would send you a first AOR, tell you to send docs to VO. Now when VO received your full docs, they would check and verify your employment and then issue you the 2nd AOR, saying you have passed FINAL eligibility.canady said:I am with you guys that they are unintentionally miss-leading us by their instructions & actions but the word FINAL is a very attractive word
In a previous post, I expected the total number of applicants to eventually reach 8800 (I would say +/- 5%, so between 8400 and 9200). I see the estimations converging this range. Once the registered nurses NOC is filled up (maybe within one month), the pace of growth will cool down.Cappuccino said:Hi, the previous projection was around 8055, so it's gone up.
I've just added a projection history, on the right hand side, so we can see the history if each update and watches as it goes up or down.

Well it will be interesting to see. Of course, one must also consider that July slightly scewed things, since the intake was vastly reduced due to people gathering documents, and also August to a lesser degree.asaif said:In a previous post, I expected the total number of applicants to eventually reach 8800 (I would say +/- 5%, so between 8400 and 9200). i think i agree with this i never thought they will reach more than 10000 applicant so almost 4 or 5 NOC will be filledasaif said:In a previous post, I expected the total number of applicants to eventually reach 8800 (I would say +/- 5%, so between 8400 and 9200).
