Someone told me that immigration process at all VOs in Europe and America will stop during the month of December, as most of the staff will be on 5 weeks vacations. Is this correct ??

This "someone" is just guessing.....maybe the VO's will slow down because of festive season but definitely not everyone in the office will be on 5 weeks vacation....but there will be some statutory vacation which might slow down the VO.
