Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Hi there,
I got my PR on 17th September,2010 alongwith my husband who lives in USA.After getting it,I sent my hubby's passport through courier.But unfortunately,the passport was put on hold at Mumbai custom office with the fact that Indian passports can not be couriered like this and it is illegal.My hubby and I are deeply worried about its consequences.
Here I want to ask to the experienced members of this forum that what will the custom office take action against me and my husband?What should be done at our side so that we can get my hubby's passport back?
and last but not least,what are the safe ways to send him passport to USA so that he can come back to India and can celebrate this Diwali with us?
Pls help me guys it's really a crucial period.Thanks.

My hubby sent pp through FedEx courier comapany.Yes,I informed them about the passport.and what is declaration form?

One of my friends mistakenly produced DD for an amount of CAD 43880 instead of CAD 42880. They realized their mistake recently when delay was occured in encashing the DD. They tried to contact with CIC through e-mail, fax and telephone. But so far they are not able to contact anybody to correct the mistake. What is the proper remedy to correct this mistake, anybody have any idea?

On interview language it's English. Would that mean to say I will be required for an interview?

I also get my GCMS few days after my Medical. I found Interview language English, I think this is initial workup of CIC to fill the spaces and if interview needed then it will be in English.

Still I dont know the meaning of HIRV, did u get

It's nothing more than what you must have indicated in your original application to CIC. They include some basic info from your application in GCMS Notes and interview language is one such info.

Just relax !!!

Today morning i checked my e case status, There were address missing. does it means they checking my application? I asked to my lawyer about it, he said they will send you Acknowledge of Receipt.


so far my timeline is:-
Application reached:- May 05 FSW:2 BUffalo
PER received :- June 16
Status changed From ERCNS to RBVO:- July 21
Now on Sept 21 Address disappeard Does it means AOR?

From my understanding, they are working on your file. I am post june 26 and never received any AOR from Buffalo. my e-cas just showed RBVO then changed to in process August 2. And then they sent me medical request on august 3rd.
