I have never heard of AEO being refused for this reason.
How did your husband get a job in Canada? Are you there on his Temporary Work Permit or are you still in your country of origin, wherever that might be? Does the job require a Labour Market Opinion and if so, did your husband get a valid one?
Has your husband done a very similar job before or is this a change of career for him?

Without knowing these things it is hard for us to know what might be useful for you to do about this, hope 2011.

He has a job offer with a positive AEO as a manager. We are british citizens and have been self employed retail managers since 1978.We are visiting family in canada at the moment. The consultant did put it in as his work experience but did not give them a detail of his previous matching job duties but it is obvious with the history provided of the past.He did get the AEO with the same information.

.......................Breaking New...................

I just received Passport Request from Buffalo for me and my spouse. It took exactly 60 days from the day they receive my Medical. They have given me till September 16th to stamp the passport with visa. I am planning to go their personally.......................... HUH..........such a great relief after almost a year.

Goodluck to you all.

Cheers.

p.s. Ecas still shows "In process", no update so far.
Congratulation, cforcanada. May I ask you this? When did you submit your RPRF? You mentioned that you received police certificates and medical request, not including RPRF? Did you actually pay that fee? I just wonder because I was also not requested that fee with medical request.. Thank you

Hi Johny,

Sorry for the delayed reply. I doubt if there will be any problem at the border since your visa is already stamped. I dont see any reason why they would stop you at the border. Thats a rare case. 1 in 10000 I would say. Sorry if I have replied very late.

Thanks,
Satya.
Hi Satya, no problem. I understand that it was a weekend and one needs to enjoy that time. Thats what i am thinking that may be in september, we will go and stay for couple of weeks and then come back to USA. Do you know what needs to be done for landing purpose? How much and which form we needs to take the funds and how to apply for driving license in toronto area.

Thanks for all your help.

Johny

I think you should email and fax them as soon as possible. You could also send them an update by post but it could take a lot longer to get noticed. All the best.

Good morning Comrades,
