Does any one experienced address disappearance in E-CAS after ordering CAIPS or request of changing address to visa office

I had request for changing address to Visa Office. My address was changing without changing my status and without disappear my address.

Thank you for ur answer ....I had a talk with my consultant also ....He believed background check is just before MR ...so if I pass that soon I will get MR ....

Well, he's almost right. Generally, employment verification is done prior to MR. Security checks however are done after medicals or before the PPR (for VOs other than ND). That is the reason most of the VOs ask for updated PCCs with the MRs, probably to help with the security checks.

My address disappeared 5 days back.20 days back I ordered for CAIPS and 7 days back I email my vo to correct my postal code in my address,dont KNw why address gone.may b related with those or co-incident

Thanks for all the well wishes.

Just an update. We have so far managed to settle our insurance, obtained our SIN, and opened a bank account with ScotiaBank. Also just received my G1 driving licence (which really is not of much use) this morning, and due to the Letter for Authentication on my past driving experience managed to get a waiver of the wait time and will go for my G licence mid-next month. Will be linking up with a realtor later this week to look for a more permanent accommodation, and thereafter my son's school. Quite busy, but really enjoying our time here.

My case is on a different scale. London VO still cannot find my son's application within their office. I have ordered for a new bank draft.
I hope to send another set of application to them on thursday by special delivery for a guaranteed delivery on friday.
Hope things will move fast from there.

Hi friends,

Its been 75 days since I got the Medicals done and 50 days since I sent my PP to NDVO for Visa Stamping. There has been no updated on eCAS - Still showing "IN PROCESS" and the line "Medicals results received" has not been added. I have been checking eCAS on daily basis and was expecting the status to be "DM" by now. Not sure if everything is fine with my application. Getting apprehensive by each passing day and negative thoughts have started to creep into my mind. ??? :-\

It's much tougher to wait to at this point of time than it was during the earlier stages. When you can see the finishing line right in front of you, its very difficult to wait till you actually cross it ???

Congratulations to those who got the good news (MR/eCAS update/PPR/RPRF/VISA) and all the best to others who are anxiously waiting for some good news

When my address disappeared first time I got request for additional documents, my address also disappeared from 21-23 July without changes. Now my address disappeared on 2 August and not appeared yet.

I hope it is good signs and we will get our MR.

I know exactly how u feel Maani, all we can do is hope and pray that we get some good news soon, preferably before we go out of our minds. This final wait really is the most difficult of all. I hope we all come out of it winners.

Landed: Waiting.

I am waiting since last 4 months to see my ECAS change from "RBVO" to "In Process". How long does it generally take to get the status updated.
