need ur help...got ppr last aug 4 and our agency advised me to update my passport since it was still in my maiden name...i got married last year and up to now i havent updated my passport yet...is it really necessary to update the passport? i am just worried about the timeframe as we are only given 45 days to submit the passport to them...

m sure u just need 1 pcc per country..rest..seniors like wayne, anil and others may confirm...u can also get info about pcc from website of canadian embassy...SAM786 said:

I think you never got my point. I never visited UK or New Zealand. But I applied for PCC in India for the purpose of skilled migration to New Zealand and for studies i.e NVQ programme for UK. So I have PCC issued in India with stamp on my passport stating PCC issued for New Zealand and UK . But failed owing to the reasons mentioned in my previous post. So do you think this will affect my process?

My case is a straight forward case. Im bewildered as to what could have gone wrong. People in this forum who have applied in and around my timelines have got MR DM and stamped visa.
why the delay?
Could it be that, a question will arise as to why this chap has PCC applied for these two countries and no travel history? Was he rejected by the respective VO for any reason?
This is just my assumption.. Could you mind just throwing light in my situation

However, I am sure VO has the details of your PP with Maiden name and the Marriage certificate to match. Its just that you will have your Visa in the passport with your maiden name.

Canadian VO will not bother if your application was rejected earlier by some other country.....they already have their plates (and hands too) full to determine about their own workload.Canadahopes said:
