what ur consultant told is exactly correct bcas even i too expect the same but the student visa dead line is upto 15 AUG 2011 i think the NDVO will start processing our applic by 16 AUG 2011 any

My Consultant told me that due to large number of student visa for fall applicant new delhi visa office is not able to take up PR applicant. Please give your opinion

If this is true then we should not worried because after 15 august our turn will defiantly come.

Thank's for giving this information. Because we are worried about our file that our file can be put in backlog, but if your consultant is right then we should not worried.

is it so? if yes, will this also impact the applicants who have submitted their medicals last month and are now waiting for their ppr?

i read somewhere in this forum that yearly quota is met by (i think london ) visa office,and next year only application will be processed by them . what is this ? i have no idea about this. has new delhi visa office met its yearly quota ?

I have never heard of a visa office meeting their yearly quotas as early as August.

Please remember, when a visa office is given a quota the resource they have available matches the quota. For example, CHC London have been given a quota of 17,500 FSW visas to issue for 2011 - they only have sufficient resource to process 17,500 visas. Therefore, they are extremely unlikely to be able to process everything twice as quickly as they are resourced to do.

Maybe around November/December time it's feasible a few visa offices may be out of visa quotas, but IMO no way they will be out by August.

London's FSW quota for 2011 is 17,500 visas. They also staffed to issue approximately 17,500 FSW visas.

Are you telling me London staff have been working so fast and efficiently that they have reached their target 7/12 of the way into the year with the same resource? As you can see by most people's timelines at London, "fast" isn't really a word they could or would associate with CHC London currently.

Where did you read that their quota was met? And how on earth did that person know? If it was "breaking news" from Nectar, he was almost certainly lying, as usual.
So please do not worry about it I think all post-June-2010 applicants at London will have visa allocations this year, as long as they successfully make it through processing.

i can't just believe this for the fact that some of the sept/ oct/ NDVO applicants are treated biased and are still in RBVO...this must be some sort of excuses from the cooked consultants...

Hello Sahlom1;
It happens this way sometimes.The one you trust most might fail and I suggest you use a Currier even if you live in the same city since this is the only way you can get confirmation.And do not forget to cote your Application Number in the package you are submitting.

Hey guys,
It looks like my son's application has been lost inside London VO. I personally dropped the application and everything they requested for in their office on the 11th of July. The guy I met stamped it and dropped it a box that looks like a safe.
After 3 weeks of not receiving his medical or correspondence from them, I sent a fax to them last week thursday.
I got an email from them this afternoon.
They claimed that they are still waiting for me to send my baby's application to them and I have now been given 25th August to send the application them. I am angry at their carelessness.
I intend to reply their email tonight and fax them again tomorrow morning but not sure of how to address them because I don't want to sound abusive due to my anger.

No problem at all. Machine Readable Passport is not a necessity for the Canadian Immigration process.

As per MY understanding student session starts in Aug / Sept in every university. So I know major waiting time has already been crossed by all of us.

Fingers crossed ....lets wait for the turn.
