Hi all

Here are some of my observations from the MR letter

1) Buffalo is already in GCMS. the bottom of my medical forms clearly say GCMS near the form number

2) my wife and kid have been given new UCI's. These are written on their med forms.i tried checking their status via ecas but am not able to do so.

3) i have not been given a new file number. it is still the same one as given by CIO in the PER (which was B057****).

4) They dont change ur address irrespective of how many time or by which method u inform them. I had my mr come to the old address even after updating it with the buffalo VO via fax, mail and ecas. I had also called the CIO helpline in canada and reconfirmed that they had my new address but still the vo didnt mail the docs to the new address..

Received the MR/PCC/RPRF letter today.

It was dated 25 July, posted on 26 July and i received it in mail today -2 Aug.

The letter was sent to my old address and i received it forwarded from that address.

Have been given 90 days to submit PCC's(Had not sent the PCC's initially). Have been given 60 days to do medicals.

Although this NOC code corresponds to the occupations specified in the Instructions identified by the Minister, you have not provided sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties.

What does it mean?
Please help me.

I did not provided the referance letters from the employer, and i just mentioned 3 duties from NOC 3131 to Schadule 3 form.

IS this the case??

I got rejected.

it means;

1- you did'nt provide job descriptions OR

No reference letters from employer = pretty much immediate rejection for FSW1. I am surprised you got through the completeness check to even get to the eligibility review.

It is possible to pass with 3 duties - generally they are looking for about 50% or more of the duties but it depends on length of experience and general strength of your application. My wife applied under 3131, and we had about 3.5 duties out of 8, and we got the visa. But she scored 76 points and 8.5 IELTS etc so it was a fairly strong application.

Anyway, the number of duties may have been enough to pass, but without any evidence that you performed the duties provided by your employer you were not going to get through the eligibility review.

The number of applications received this year for 3131 is still fairly low (19 or so out of 500) so it is unlikely to fill up quickly. Can you not acquire the appropriate references from your employer and apply again this year?

I am having experiance of 6 years and earning 69 points, my sister is Canadian citizen.

Please let me know they are considering IELTS score??
