With all the discussion going around submission of old AND new PP upon request for stamping, perhaps it would be an idea, if one has not kept their expired Passports, to attach a brief note of explanation. At least VO would know you didn't have one to give them and it would cover ALL the bases and save wasting their time asking for it. Just a thought.

I am a perfect example of delay as i had not submitted my old pps

It is advisable to submit old passport/passports along with the new/valid one. VO, in majority of cases, asks for old passport if not submitted with the valid one. Might be because validation of travel history is required. My agent told me that I would need to send both old and new passports to avoid any delays or future correspondence. I have submitted both old and the new passport to NDVO. I have seen delay in issuance of visas in the cases where old passport have not been submitted and VO asks for it at a later stage. My point is, why take chances?

I have a doubt regarding status of my FSW1 application. Dear friends i sent my application in january 2011 and received a PER in march 2011. my e cas status is received by visa office and in that there is nothing like "in process". Moreover I have not received any "2nd AOR" by my visa office NEW DELHI. my case status has not changed since April 2011 and it is RBVO. what i should do? how long will it take as already it is more than 3 months that no communication has reached me.
what's ur opinion? plz do share ur views...............

if u see the spread sheet , there are other members who status is in RBVO.....the NDVO is working on jan applicants.......except Mayank no one's status changed to IN PROCESS who have filed application after jan 19

Still RBVO after all this time - I don't even want to count the weeks but it is a LOT!
I am getting a bit worried - could they have lost our application or is there something they don't like about ours? We have done everything right, I know we have.
CAIPS notes are applied for and maybe then there will be a clue of what is going on.
Sick about March applicants to London getting Meds when we are still waiting (no offence to applicants, but it is extremely unfair). We have been RBVO since March.
For those waiting from Buffalo, writing to the Minister will do you no good - they just say it is procedural fairness to process everyone in order and that they cannot look at your case until the requisite time quoted for applications to be processed has passed.
You can try, of course, but I would suggest CAIPS notes are the way to go to begin with.
