I've made over 3200 posts on this forum and have dedicated over 45 solid days during the past year helping other people. So please read my posts properly before you dare to sit there with your whole 28 posts and accuse me of disrespect and spitting and hurting other people's feelings.

Wayne.

What!!!! seriously???? how dare me????
Does the 3200 posts give your privileges to insult others? you can express your opinion as much as you want but without using humilating expressions. Even if you meant people who sent their application for July 2011, this doesn't give your the right to call them stupid or suckers or whatever.. If you want to earn respect, you need to show some, because the 3200 posts will not buy you any.

I am very sad to know that this forum is only for those with 3000+ posts........

Like I said extend people the courtesy of properly reading what they have written, and what it should be fairly obvious they mean by it, before jumping to conclusions and attempting character assassinations on some of the more respected and hard-working members of this thread.

And I will most certainly not be "keeping my opinion to myself", certainly not on the instruction of someone who's made 28 posts here.

And posting in bright red bold font is the way to gain respect of course? LOL. All that will achieve is to give people a headache.

You speak of humiliating expressions yet you accuse me of hurting people's feelings, of "spitting" my words out and not respecting people. You also falsely accuse me of calling people "mentally retarded" which I never ONCE said, and of saying people are "suckers", which I also never ONCE said.

Of course, this forum is not only for those with 3000+ posts (when did I say that - once again you are making things up about me?) - but is certainly not for newcomers with a handful of posts to start telling people who have spent dozens of days here helping people, what they may and may not post here.

I have every right to voice my opinion, one which if you look back you will see is actually supported by a great many people - and it will be a cold day in hell when I need permission from someone like YOU to do so. Lots of people are skeptical of using immigration consultants and many people think it's a stupid idea to pay an immigration a lot of money to stockpile their application for them.

Now, you seem to speak a lot about respect - so if you'd care to try to find out which of the two of us has gained the most respect on this forum, the answer should be quite clear.

But if it's respect you want - I'd suggest you begin by refraining from the bright red font to make yourself sound important, and also stop telling lies about what people have said.

Wayne.

Please read my reply to Jignesh and I'm unsure if they(NDVO) will ask for more documentation from your side now. What's your ECAS now?

Let's see how to handle this now.

Thanks,

Hello,

Relax :) There is no definite timeline associated with the visa stamping as we see.. It could be anywhere from 20 days to more than 6 months, and we've been trying to find some logic behind the wait times in vain. so wait is the word!

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.

Well we will all keep our fingers crossed for you :)

Are you able to obtain any additional documentation which will further prove your relationship to your wife's uncle? CHC London will accept additional documentation at any time after your application has arrived at visa office, so you don't have to wait to go In Process. You may well be alright anyway, but sending additional documents won't hurt if you are able to get them.

Best of luck,
Wayne.

Wayne,

what is your opinion about additional documents in regards of proof of relation ship? please let me know so i shud star working on it from now.

in my opinion...additional documents to prove relationship only(not that relative is living in canada and citizen as i already did) are Matriculation certificate or Birth certificate of both mother in law and her brother.

uncle was born in 1950 and mother in law was born in 1954...at that time they dint take care of birth certificate...so if i ask local authorities to make New birth certificate for them then a fresh document would create doubt in visa officer\s mind.

Mother in law completed her 10th grade in 1969 and her brother completed in 1965....i already have both the educational certificate but due to some domestic reason, my mother in law's second name was Totally wrong printed on the certificate[ mind it...it was not a typing error but a complete change second name]...there fore i dint submit it with my initial application.

Marriage certificate were the most authentic documents available with me...so i decided to submit them and not to put any doubts and confusion in Visa officer's mind.

Please share your expert opinion with me.

Regards,
Wayne

lol...sorry

I would like to share with you some good news.

Today we received our passports with visas. The date of issue is June 22. Our RPRF fees were encashed on June 23.
Thank you all for your support during our anxious moments of waiting.

It has yet to sink in that we have our visas. It in fact came yesterday, but no one was home to receive it. My husband picked it up from the post office today. I am at work so I have yet to see it :)

Spicysank, the medical requests are sent through registered mail.

Congratulations to all who have received good news. Especialy the buffalo applicant johnyusa. Hope more good news come pouring in for the Buffalo applicants. Cam, Entemaria, praveen, all all who are waiting.....

Congratulations to Shalom on the birth of his baby boy.

Thanks , First time i am felling nervousness today and i dont think I will be having enough sleep today

waiting to know decision status along with Passport.
all is well

If in case at any stage i got rejected due to this relationship thing...i have an alternate plan in my mind.

i will take ielts results immidiately and try to improve my score. and apply under July 2011 category.

Category 8222 skill people are very less and only 145 applications were received last year. this is because Oil industry is very small all over the world.

rite now..my evaluation is

education( bachelors of Mechanical engineering which includes 16 years of formal education)= 16 points
Language proficency: L=8.5, R=6,W=7 S 6.5 There fore =14 points
Working experiance 2+ under NOC 8222= 17
Age(25 years)= 10
Adaptibilty(wife MS in journalism(4) and relation ship in canada(5)= 9 points

total 70.... if incase relation ship is not accepted then it would be 65...so i should improve Ielts....OR i should wait by taking Risk till January 2012 to gain 3+ years experiance(if Cap doesnt reached which i accept it wont).

What are your expert opinion Wayne and indira.

Regards,
Salman

Oops, my bad again :'( :-[ :-[ :-[

You are from London VO and so things might work different there. Since you just received your PER, I suggest you to wait until London VO contacts you regarding your app.

NDVO might as well accept birth certificates, but as I told, the parents names might not be clear there. In India, birth certificates are usually not VERY correct and often we need to run around to get CORRECT details on them. For eg. My birth certificate just had a _____ next to the name(It took about 6 months to name me and they had to register my birth before that), half of my father's first name and my mother's name spelt wrong. It did take about a couple of months running around for me to correct ALL of the details before we submitted our application.

So, ALL I said was to be correlated to your situation and not taken as such :)

Hope for good news from you soon..

Thanks,

Indira Prabhakaran.
