Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

I think that is one more way CIC want to scare the hell out of you, please call the CIC after couple of weeks, probably you will recieve a favourable answer, meanwhile try to find out if the CC/ BD has been encashed.

It would be helpfull for other to know where you VISA office , NOC etc, so please update your signature to reflect these details, also people can come across more suggestions if they have more info.

I VE GOTTEN A VERY SHOCKING NEWS ...YESTRDAY I CALLED UP CIO FOR THE STATUS OF MY APPLICATION....MY APPLICATION WAS RECEIVED ON SEP 1ST .....BUT ACCORDING TO THEM DEY VENT RECEIVED ANY APPLICATION BY MY NAME OR DATE OF BIRTH ALTHOUGH I VE THE TRACKING COURIER WHICH CONFIRMS DELIVERY...I ALSO CHECKED MY BANK AND DRAFT IS NT ENCASHED AS WELL ....I FELL SO FRUSTRATED N I DONNO WAT TO DO WHERE THE HELL MY APPLICATION HAS GONE..........

While it feels good that CIC is updating the numbers constantly 8), and waiting times actually getting shorter from 33 weeks to 16 weeks , it also frustrates when we cant know if our application is actually INTO the CAP or not :-[ :-[? Or whether it has been received or misplaced into some dump ??? ??? ??? Looks like we cant rely on the courier delivery proof anymore :-\ :-\

Sorry to hear about DocManu's case. I feel he should follow up with an email to the minister about this.

I'm worried, i am not able to confirm the BD en-cashment details with the bank yet, and that is the only official proof i can have to indicate my application is actually received and they have it in the queue.

Wish i had known some manager in HDFC bank :'( :'( :'(.

You can use the online facility after you login to internet banking & raise a query. They have to respond to the query. At first they will send you a standard response that pls. ask the beneficiary for encashment details. Then you just send them a stern reply stating that it's not possible & HDFC should know the status in their system. They will then surely respond with the current status of your BD !!

Hi Indira,

I fully sympathise, and this is why I feel CIC are being very irresponsible with this process. How hard would it be to send an email after completeness check saying "Your application is received and is deemed complete and is counted within the cap, and now awaits eligibility review."

They are currently getting less than 100 applications per day, I don't think this small courtesy would hurt. At least then, if they decide to spend 4 to 8 months on eligibility review people at least know that their application is received!

Hi everybody

I'm the new one here. My VO is Warsaw and CIO received my application on August 22th. My NOC is 1122. My application was submitted by an immigration consultant and she payed by BD. Mine and my husband's PCC was sent with the application.
A few days ago i wrote an e-mail to my VO asking about processing times in CIO and they wrote me that it's about 4 months.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everybody's AOR's

Hi dear

I am also facing the same problem. I tried too many time at the netbanking for the same but they say that they did not have any data of encashment of the BD . So today I went at the branch ,from where I made my BD and give them the copy of the same. Now they told me that they check the status via mail and communicate me tomorrow.

Hope for the Best and if you got any solution please let me inform also. I also used the HDFC bank for that.

However, the 4 months being quoted was from when the CC/BD was cashed. The first encashments for post-June-26 applications were done in early September - therefore if these timescales are true the first AORs should be received in early January. Out draft was cashed on September 15th, therefore we might expect to receive an AOR by mid January.

To be honest, if we find out by mid January whether or not we passed the eligibility review it won't be too bad - only another 2 months to wait (and we've already waited 2 months anyway so this means we're half way!).

I was very concerned when they mentioned 33 weeks, since this means no AOR until May 2011! Was is just ludicrous.

However, IMO they should at least send a receipt after completeness check, since otherwise some people do not even know for sure if their application arrived.

I don't want a delay receiving an AOR, I just want them to do a thorough job of assessing whether or not we are eligible. I would hate to be rejected because an officer skimped over our application and made a rushed choice
