That's actually very strange on the part of VO to refund the earlier money,,,but since they have practically done nothing with the old file so the refund is indeed needed.

and I would welcome any $$$ coming my way...(I am an old applicant too...)

No Mayank, VO did nt ask me at all, nor i asked them for withdrawl.

Status of my old application is "WITHDRAWN" from 20 Mar.onward. While its still "IN PROCESS" regarding new appl.

Even I am also in backlog of Year March 2005. I have also filed my fast track application in November 2010. Through medical and ppt request. Just now i have also checked my status for previous/old file, it is also showing application withdrawn however i have not pulled back my case. Seems like they are closing the previous files on their own.

Even I had been told that I will directly get Medicals rather than any second Approval or AOR. Even i would like to know about the same. But as seen on the spreadsheet i expect one...

OK, I am relaxed now . I was of the opinion that i am the only one who is in this type of situation.

So it may be concluded that its there policy only.
