Dear Mayank,
It is totally unpredictable after applications reaching at ND VO. You can observe from our spreadsheet that many of our friends who applied in August and September are still waiting for Medicals. It is more than 60 days they have received second AOR. In the same way most of our friends including myself are waiting for Passport to return back with maple leaf. Most of us are above 30 days and few above 60 days and all anxiously waiting for "Decision made" status. But there is no time scale for the same. Only we can do is check our e-cas status twice a day to see whether there is any update and wait for postman to find something surprsing from Canadian High commission. Really it is frustrating time for all waiting members. I wish all of us get good news very soon...........

Hi - I ordered extra PCCs but my wife did not so she will have to get them again if we have to re-submit. Royal Mail supervisor phoned me they are still "looking into it". Other items in the same Special Delivery bag as ours have arrived at their destinations so it's not the whole bag which has gone missing - just our item!

They probably won't have an answer until Monday morning so will have to decide then what to do. I can get a new bank draft within a day or two, and we can cancel the old draft if we fill in an insurance form as long as CHC haven't cashed it, and my wife I guess can get new police certificate within a few days if she uses premium service.

So potentially we could get everything ready to send again by next Thursday-ish - but every day waiting for Royal Mail to find the package is a day lost. I think we'll make the decision on Monday.

My wife phoned CHC London, and eventually got through to a helpful lady but she was just a front-end customer service and had no access to our file details. She advised sending a case specific query and marking it urgent to ask CHC to confirm if they received the package or not.

Anyway grats on your stuff arriving, looks like you'll probably be getting PPR before us!

I think at VO level they must implement some stand. precess with stand. time line for the awareness to applicant.

could this be a bug in the ecas by any chance ??

Well just wait until they contact you. It is possible that ECAS is bugged (this has been known to happen sometimes), but I think you should prepare yourself for the fact that it might be rejection

Let's hope that's not the case.

From the first instance it seems bugs in your e-cas. As third line " Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 10, 2011." in your e-cas is promising for Medical request.

May i know have you received 2nd AOR letter from your VO ?

Don't know if you guys have seen The Incredible Hulk but right now I am so angry I am in danger of turning green and my shirt ripping open!

Ok - I spoke to someone at customer services at Royal Mail. They say they the last place on their system they can trace our RPRF/PCCs it is when I handed the package over to the post office on Wednesday! Now they have no idea where it is!

Anyway, I explained the importance of the documents - that they contained $980 worth of bank draft, police certificates that are costly and time-consuming to get as well as several forms. I also explained that our application which we've spent a year doing could fail if CHC do not receive the items within the timeframe, and also it is next to impossible to get confirmation from them that they received the items owing to the fact they have tens of thousands of applications on the go.

He said they are investigating and that they he has escalated this to a supervisor who will contact me today.

We have a case number and I took the name of the guy I spoke to.

I am expecting a supervisor to call me back today, but if they've lost this it's not only going to add another couple of weeks delay (and run us close to the wire on our 60 days) but my wife has to get PCC again (will have to use premium service this time, I got a spare PCC when I ordered the last one), we're going to have to somehow cancel our bank draft and order another one for $980, and hope we can get a refund on the first!

you are almost the same as me: PER 30th march
and RBVO ( cairo Visa office )this morning when I checked my ECAS
it took them over 42 days to receive our file!!
