Thank you soooo much. Answers a majority of my questions. The foremost being .... "meds have been rcvd" has no bearing whatsoever!

Hey Rahul

You can't judge the eCAS "meds have been rcvd" with this particular case ......... ??? ???
Rather mptocanada didn't give time to anyone to even blink the eye ....forget changing the status..... :P
Can't speak much ...in case if he is not coming tomorrow .... will break the silence..... ;D

Cheers, Anil

Wow rprf fee receipt received after visa received and ecas still in process. Great job CIC/CHC. Now we know better how much to trust the ecas status. CIC pls discontinue the service and save on man hours, utilise that time to process the applications faster or at least finish the last stage of issuing the visa faster after rprf enacshed. No point holding our passports.

I always suspected this, first grasshopper and now mp. It's futile to wait for decision made. One day you're in process, the next, WHAM, PP returned with the stamp, while you're still in process.

Anil,

Your getting us all antsy with this cloak and dagger stuff. I also refer to grasshopper, his ecas changed 3 days after stamping!

Anyway, we're all anxious to hear about the circumstances. Please provide us with your address to this thread live time in GMT tomorrow :P

Cheers!

Thank you for your reply, Sir.

Yes, the credit card was charged the day after my application was received. So, it is complete.

I've contacted CIO twice and each time I got "your application is waiting review by an officer. You'll be contacted in due course".

I check my email box everyday, including spam and junk folders. No response from CIO regarding my PER.

Thanks again!

Hi,

I am also one of the people whose applications are currently delayed at the CIO. Though, ours too was received a bit later than yours. It does appear that CIO takes longer than usual to process certain applications. Whatever the reason, is anybody's guess. Nevertheless, do not despair my friend. Hopefully we'll get the much awaited good news shortly.

Congrats kittu ....... Updated your details on the ND tracker....

Today mptocanada received his RPRF receipt dated 26 April 2011 (Though Vo received it on 11 April). And his status is still 'In Process' with 3 lines ;D... :-X... ???

Cheers, Anil

Whoa! :o

You sure are a suspense builder anil.

Anyways, as I mentioned earlier as well, the suspense is killing us, so do open up with mp2canada's story ASAP if he doesn't do so soon.

Cheers!

Has anyone ordered UK Police Clearance Certificates lately?

We ordered ours on 15th April, and even accounting for bank holidays they are still now over 10 working days and not a sign of them.

When we ordered them last July they came in about a week! We know they received the money/forms for them since the cheques for both of us have already cleared in the bank. Guess the delays are due to Easter breaks, but even so they shouldn't advertise a service which you pay money for to get within 10 working days if they cannot deliver within that timescale!

I did and got mine after 16 days, eventhough I opted for the Premium and Courier Delivery Service.

Premium service is supposed to take 2 days!!! Was that 16 calendar days or 16 working days? Were yours being posted to a UK address?

Last time we ordered them (July 2010) they took 5 working days, and that wasn't the premium service.

Really starting to wish we'd opted to that now - but didn't want to spend an extra £70 when we THOUGHT they'd be here a few days after we'd taken our medicals. Can't believe the medical results have already been back with CHC London for 1 week and we still haven't send our paperwork off yet cos of these blasted PCCs. What's more annoying is the PCCs CHC London already has which we sent with our initial application are still valid for another 2.5 months.

16 calendar days, and delivered to Singapore. Most of the time was taken for the application to reach ACPO as using courier service was not an option as they only provided a PO Box address.

Hmm. I imagine ACPO can only guarantee timelines from when they actually receive it.

We posted our ACPO applications seperately (my wife was going down to London on the train for a hen do and the girl who was signing her photos did it on the train, so she mailed her app from London). They were both posted on Friday 15th April. I sent my recorded delivery so I know mine was received on Monday 18th April, and since they cashed the cheque it must have been received at the right place.

My wife's was sent 1st class stamps rather than recorded delivery, but her cheque was cashed 1 day after mine (cleared from our bank yesterday, mine cleared on Tuesday). It usually takes 2 working days for a cheque to clear at the originating bank - so from that I can conclude they cashed my cheque last Wednesday (27th April) and my wife's last Thursday (28th April) cos we'd have the last two Mondays and Fridays as public holidays in the UK.

Anyway, our applications reaches ACPO within one or two days. We're not on working day 11 after we sent them and heard nothing. Hopefully they'll be here by the end of the week but this is the LAST thing we need in the entire process to complete it all, so it's getting a little frustrating now! :)

Thats true. Actually they only took 3 days (from date of email acknowledgement, and date of delivery shown in the Police Certificate); but it took 10 days to reach them by ordinary mail, and 3 days for me to receive it by courier service.

OK cool. Well they are only JUST over their 10 working day promise so far, so if we get them by the end of the week (that gives them 2 more postal days) I will be happy. :D

If it spills over into next week though I may phone up and shout at them. >:( Although, they are the police, so I'd better not shout too loudly ;)

Wayne. ;D

Thanks Indira,

Now again waiting for In Process . When should i expect ? As from tracker i think VO will take around 2/3 months , as Only one dec. applicant is in process AND no JAN applicant turned in to In process.

Mayank
