Hi,
My application was received by CIO on 11 JAN 2011 and Draft encashed on 21 JAN 2011.

However, I have as of date absolutely no acknowledgement / communication / emails from CIO. Therefore I dont even have a file number to track status online etc.

PLEASE HELP ! Should I be concerned ? How and whom do I contact for the status of my application ????

in this forum i saw once one of the member went to bank and his frnd who was woking in the bank told there is a file no satrting wth bxxxxx that means if ur bank wants they can give u the file no as behind the bank draft here is ur file no too aginst which ur money went

bt i mnt sure about it.bt definetly i found such post bfore.u can try it.there is no harm in it

Hey..

Even I have an additional line in my eCAS status "Medical results have been received". Hope it's not bug.. even though we have compeleted our medicals long back.

PP were sent on 12th April but my bank is not telling anything about rprf encashment as my bank is state bank...

33 weeks : ! I wish everybody will follow this timeline!

I just want to share these ever since I applied for immigration..

After 112 days that CIO received my application - PER

36 days after PER - 2nd AOR

2 days after 2nd AOR - Medical Request

28 days after Results were submitted - Passport Request

22 days after CEM received our passports -
VISA !!!!!!!


A total of 33 weeks and 5 days


I received our visas today in a long brown envelope with serialized tapes indicating my file number..

The envelope contains the following:

- Me and my husband's passport of course with the visa..I'm hugging and kissing it..hehe
- COPR
- Letter from CEM, 5 pages, included is PDOS info.
- All my documents that were submitted (all of my docs. except the aplication forms)
- Receipt of payments

DHL called me this morning and I went to their office to pick it up, here in my home town ofcourse, I paid them the corresponding fee

There is no change in my ecas status. Still in process and still only reads 3 lines......started processing on 23rd Nov 2010. Its been more than 45 days now that we have submitted our passports. Received no further communication as well. SURPRISED

We received your application for permanent residence on September 13, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 5, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 10, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
