Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

Sorry for being away for a week.. Had been quite busy with few things.

First of all, let me Thank each and every one on this forum for congratulating me..

There was couple of questions which were asked to me:-

1. Validity of the Visa – Visa is Valid for 1 year from the date I took my medicals.
2. I received following documents from VO:-
- All Passports with VISA.
- A cover letter, It contains some information like what to do when you land.
- Generic Document – 1 for each family member with photo on it. It contains information like Passport number, Visa validity dates, Nationality and many more information about the applicant.
- IELTS original score card.
- Original Job duty letters from all my employers.
- - My Wife's transcripts (They kept mine).

Please let me know if I can answer any of your queries. I would be more than happy to do so.

Hi Friends,

I need your valuable advice,

I have noticed that I left out the P.O. Box from the address when I couriered my PP and other document to ND VO

The address which I posted is as below , I missed to include PO Box 5209 in the address, (Blue Dart confirm's that it has delivered to the given address on March 18th)

Canadian High Commission
Immigration Section
7/8 Shantipath, Chanakyapuri
New Delhi 110 021
India.

I'm worried now whether it is delivered to the proper section in the ND VO as my DD is still not encahed, I'm thinking of sending a case specific enquiry to ND VO to know whether documents sent by me have been recieved by the immigration section and is under processing, please advice if this would help my case to get more clarity or do I need to wait to complete at least 45 working days (by May 6th) to send my query.

1. Yes, With One year validty, it means I can land there anytime prior to 23th March 2012. But if I (or even any of my family member) miss this deadline, VISA stands cancel and I have to reapply for PR.
2. I plan to land sometime after 3 months. I am negotiating with my currect company to transfer me to Canada.
3. Location not decided yet. Depends where I get the job. If I don't get it for next 3 months, I would Land in Calgary(I have a friend there).

I received my RPRF receipt a day after I received my VISA.
As per the receipt, DD was encashed on 6th April. (My Bank told me it was 8th April).
So the exact timelines are:-

24th March :- Medicals Done
28th March :- Sent Passport, RPRF.
29th March :- Passport & RFRF reached NDVO.
6th April :- DD Encashed
7th April :- VISA Stamped
10th April :- eCAS update to - Decision Made
18th April :- Passport received.

Considering weekend on 9th /10th April and 3 postal holidays in following week, seems like NDVO dispatched my passport 1 or 2 days after stamping the Visa.

So IMO, VO stamp the Visa soon after your DD is encashed and they dispatch it with in a day or two after that.

I am not sure about the first question.

For 2nd question, Designation does not matter. What matters is the Job duties. If you are able to fulfill 50-60% of what is mention in the NOC details, your are good.

My name is Syed Salman Hussain and i am applying for canadian immigration under category 8222. i work in a company called Weatherford oil tools.

I have gathered all the documents. i have been arranging the documents since last 8 months and finally i am suceeded.

Just wanted to confirm below details from Senior members, i will be thankful if you could help me.

1. i am availing points of relation ship. my wife's Uncle( i.e Brother of My wife's Mother). i couldnt arrange their their brith certificates so i managed to arrange MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE of Both i.e My wife's Mother and Wife's Mother's Brother.
CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME THAT WILL CIC ACCEPT THIS PRROF OF RELATION SHIP. it is very hard to arrange birth certificate of old people(who born before 1950).

2. My job title is Sr. EPF Engineer. my Job description is very similiar to what mentioned in NOC 8222. does it matter what ur job title is as i have got the letter from my employer mentioning my current job responsibilities.
