if they are processing on 24 August so i think people in July will receive AOR very soon may be in the end of this month so i think we can see the majority of the AOR in December for people in Sep. and Oct.

i hope so really i don't know what is going on but there is no news about any new CC/BD encashed lately

hope everything is ok

Hi, the 20000 cap is for the applications right? so that number does not really corresponds to the actual eligible immigrant.

That's right - 20,000 principal applicants for FSW1 (FSW2 and other categories are uncapped).

I think there were very few applications received in July due to the IELTS tests and gathering all the supporting documents, which prior to June 26 were not required at the initial stage. Therefore I'd expect August/September/October applicants to receive AORs not too far behind July applicants.

I agree, they cannot possibly count an application towards the cap until it passes its eligibility review, and this is AFTER CC/BD encashed.

Now, another possibility is that they are completing eligibility reviews they simply haven't sent the AORs out yet. But were this the case once they hit the 20,000 they surely would advertise this as soon as possible on their web site to save them the expense and time in having to return FSW1 applications coming in?

Well June applicants received on 25th June have received AORs now, and our CC/BDs were encashed within a few days of this, so hopefully within the next week or two the first of the post-June-26 applicants will receive AORs.

Wayne.

Hi Wayne,

where did you read info about AOR of an applicant with submission date of 25 June 2010? can you please share a link or text of the original post? if that is the case, then the CIO will be wrapping up outstanding applications from London, Buffalo, Cairo and Moscow and proceed into sending the post-26 June AORs quite soon I assume.

thanks

Dear Wayne....and dear all...tell me if i'm wrong:

Regarding these three facts:

FIRST:
(according to the CIC website) they follow this order:
1-completeness check
2-eligibility test
3-proceesing (if passed the eligibility test)

SECOND:
For the file to be proceessed, they should collect the proceessing fees first.

Third:
The proceeing is not initiated till the application sucessfully pass the eligibility test.

Dosen't it make sense that since they encased you CC or BB that you have already passed they eligibility to go to the next step(the proceesin).

Please,all..brain storm and share analyzing their wards.

I think you have the order slightly wrong. The processing fee is taken after the completeness check, but BEFORE the eligibility review.

The order as I understand it is
1) Completeness check
2) Charge credit card/cash draft
3) Perform eligibility review
4) Send AOR and forward application to visa office

Hi..nope..im not with CIC.. :) I'm with enhance visa services.
good to know kai, maybe our VO has different ruling thats why our consultants are confident about it.

As per my understanding

1) Completeness check
2) Charge credit card/cash draft
3) Perform first eligibility review
4) send first AOR
5) Detailed check and send second AOR and forward application to visa office
