Congratulations Shareen....... :D :D :D
Now is the time for you to celebrate as u r going to receive maple leaf with ur passport......... ;)

By the way could you tell me when was ur DD encashed ?

Thanks

Congratulations, but just a word of caution, the RPRF fee is non-refundable. So they will en-cash it anyway. All the best. Hope you are the first one to break the ice.

i know nitroxn ::).....until i get the maple leaf i aint gonna jump around :P

Hi Magdy

I also have a similar situation and i expect my baby by sept 2011

and confused about the medicals as well, because it is not advisible to take x-rays while you are pregnent and the medicals includes x-rays.

Now i am planning to write to ND VO regarding this

may be you can also write to them and lets find out what needs to be done.

And regarding your passport you need to renew it before sending it to VO ( the six months validity clause)
you need to send the new as well as old passports

Regards
Jeniya

Guys -

PLEASE stop PM'ing me personally asking me to update the spreadsheet.

There are 10 or so admins, please address requests to update the spreadsheet on the thread to admins in general. Whichever one of us is first able to update the spreadsheet will do so. I get a lot of PMs anyway and all these extra PMs to update the spreadsheet is very time consuming to respond to. Also sometimes I have very limited access to the spreadsheet, especially when I am at work.

If you make a request and one of the admins doesn't spot it after a day or two then simply make the request again on the thread.

Regrettably from now on I am going to have to ignore PMs for spreadsheet updates, partly out of necessity and partly to encourage people to actually post on the thread properly.

Thank you.

Wayne.

Since making this post I have received another 2 or 3 PMs asking me personally to do spreadsheet updates.

There are 10+ people who can administer the spreadsheet and by making a post on the thread the first of these admins who spot the post and are able to update the spreadsheet will do so. By doing this you will be ensuring your update is done at the earliest opportunity, and also really help cut down the number of PMs I have to deal with. I will do my share of updates of course but my access to the spreadsheet is sometimes limited.

I don't wish to sound snappy but I do get a lot of PMs, and doubling the amount of PMs I get for spreadsheet updates just makes life a lot more time consuming for me.

Now can I please ask people to respect my wishes? In future I will be regrettably ignoring and deleting any spreadsheet update requests which are personally sent to me via PM.

Thanks,
Wayne.

Hi shareen

Congrads on your progress

Hi Anil/ Indira/Shareen/wayne

and i have a query
As you know i have to complete my medicals befor this month end.
Now my worry is about the baby we are expecting in the month of Sept 1st week,

1. how to get the new born's name added in the application and is it possible to add the name if i get maples on my passport befor the birth of the baby. Or is there any way that i can ask the visa office to wait till the baby is born so that i can submit newborn's passport as well for the visa stamping.

2. is regarning medicals as i mentioed the earlier post regarning X-ray. Actually it is not advisible to take an X-ray when you are pregnent, can i ask the Doctor to avoid the X-ray if possibe? will this have any adverse effect on my application?

Thanks in advance
Jeniya

Congratulations, Indira.... you are one of the persons keeping this thread lively. You have done a good work keeping the spreadsheets up to date. Hope your medicals go flawlessly...

Hey Nitroxn...
I think getting RPRF DD encashed is a step very close to getting visas...i dont find any reason for them to encash it and reject it later...
btw i also dont think RPRF is non refundable ...its the application fee that is non refundable ...

Uzma.

Hey Jeniya,

Thanks :)

1. You can add your new born only after his/her birth....u'll have to send the necessary forms and the baby's passport, birth certificate etc. for that....since its only in Sep, i m sure there is a chance u might get ur visas before that if u dont inform them ::)...the ND-VO expect us to notify about child birth....so i guess its better to inform them about your expected child...i guess they'll hold on to your application till u notify them again about the birth.....check with others too if its easier/advisable to get the baby added after u get the visas or before :-\

2. well there are special conditions to get an xray done if u r pregnant....they shield ur abdomen area....i m not sure if they will let u pass the xrays.....ur DMP will take extra precautions....just make sure u inform the radiographer about your pregnancy.....
