Would it make sense to send the PCCs to the visa office before they request them or even before receiving the AOR. I mean, if CIO says the application was received by visa office and they give a file number that starts with E, can't we just mail the PCCs to the VO with a cover letter stating the file number?

I was thinking about the same as I got my FBI clearance letter after submitting my documents to CIO. After getting some inputs from seniors I also discussed it with my consultant : and he suggested that we send this FBI clearance letter to the visa office so that hopefully they don't ask me again when I get the MR.....hope this helps....

Hi friends,
As per current days difference between MR and 2nd AOR, Singapore VO is most slower among all other VOs in this blog postings.
According to spreadsheet updates, Temasek of SP VO 2nd AOR issued date is 9 Feb'11 and MR date is 24 Mar'11.
So, it has been required 43 days to issue MR.
Who knows, more days may require in coming days. :'(
Hope SP VO will come forward to issue faster MR.

just called the bank out of curiosity to know if the LANDING FEES (RPRF) dd got encashed ....
and to our surprise got to know ...IT DID !!!.....
wow ...this is unbelievable ...looks like ND VO is working real fast ....
( btw our medicals were sent on 14th march and PP and dd on 16th march ...)

Good opinion, but we should not be selfish to think that only we should migrate , others should also get an equal opportunity guys......and hence 67 is a big hurdle for some one who is single and wants to migrate, though 67 cut off might be very lenient for some of those who are very bright.

Depends on the visa office. Most visa offices will request passports only when they are ready to issue the visas. New Delhi works differently, and requests the visas at the same time as medical requests.

Nothing guarantees a visa until you actually have it.

For example here is one guy who got PPR and then had them returned without visa due to lack of a PCC:

But generally speaking if you get PPR (except the New Delhi system) you are 99.99% certain to get the visa.
