regarding asaif no reply from til now i tried to contact him but no reply also linkrink didn't tell us of any update yet

this case is driven me crazy

Well without 2nd AORs or med requests, these infrequent reports of ECAS status being changed to say "We started processing" are actually more of a tease/torture than useful info! Since we know how inaccurate ECAS can be, it's hard at the moment to tell if London has genuinely started on >J26 applicants or not.

For people like asaif whose application was received by CIO in July 2010, it must be even harder for him to see that (and no offence meant to them ) NOVEMBER applicants at Manila are getting 2nd AORs, late-October applicants at Manila are getting med requests - yet London applicants received 4 months earlier at CIO have heard nothing yet.

The whole thing is getting frustratingly out of sync between the different visa offices. The danger of course is that after 1st July 2011 the in-demand list may change, and applications from any of the occupations removed from the list may find themselves on lower priority/backfoot.

Had a quick question - I checked my e status it say - "CIO-eligibility review complete - We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 15, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us". I haven't received any letter as of now. Can anyone throw a range in terms of days as to how long it takes to receive that kind of letter. Reason i am asking is i will be out of the country (USA) to visit home for a month very soon. Any help will be appreciated.

That is the PER that you received. They always say "letter" even when it's an email.

I know that there are most interesting things to do than reading about my doubts and anxiety. Oh well, I just need to share this and read your opinion about it.

I just received the reply from FSW-Sydney in which they tell me that:

Your application has been received by our office, and is currently awaiting review by an officer. You will be contacted in due course.

Ok, this is crystal clear. The problem is that my app was received by CIO on November 22 and the money encashed on 23!

What do you guys think that is blocking the review of my app?

I think there's an error with the last entrant on the tracker Ozoneozone. You have his app date as Dec 2011. I think you mean to put it as Dec 2010.

Yeah 9j, You're right. I noticed the date my application was received by CIO was coded as 29th Dec 2011 instead of 2010.

I live in Canada already as a temporary resident and since they sent me a letter last week, I'm expecting it to reach me this week. i just hope its good news. This whole process is too long to go thru again
