Applications after 26/6 in any NOC CONNECT HERE TO GET THE STATUS

just finished my medicals today....

nothing to worry...just basic examinations......but my doctor asked me and my husband what is our intended work/occupation once we land in canada :....

tests included are

1. Physical examination
2. X-ray Chest
3. Urine Routine
4. HIV
5. VDRL

they said it would take them 5 working days to send the results to ND-VO....

since the VO has asked me to submit another PCC, its going to take us another week b4 we submit our documents... :

since i have been out the whole day, i have almost 7 pages of posts to read ;D.....i m sure few ppl would have received their share of good news (PER,AOR, MR)....congrats to all

Excellent news Shareen! Good going! Where are you getting the PCCs from? RPO or the commissioner's office? My PCC has already expired and my husband's is going to on the 5th of April.
There are no appointments available in Bangalore at the RPO. How are you guys getting a new PCC?

Thankfully we received the Medicals Request today. We have also been requested for some marriage pictures and marriage certificate. We had already submitted this but they have requested for it again.
We had not submitted the PCCs but there is no explicit mention of it.

Shareen, you must have gone for your medicals today. How was it? Can I get your help in understanding the process in Bangalore?

well surprised about them not asking for your PCC :....we applied for our pcc thru the commissioner office...had no choice since there were no appts at rpo.....should be getting them in about a week....

well the medicals isn't quite a problem....are u from bangalore ?

we did our medicals at Elbit Diagnostics.....place is pretty good....took a prior appointment.....they dont work on sat & Sun.....and they accept only cash, no credit/debit cards....

pay the necessary bills and finish all ur investigations....once u r done, the DMP will call u for the physical examination....basic questions like, any surgery, history of tb, any hospitalisation required, any other illness for which u r on medication, have u stayed abroad for more than a yr in the last 5 yrs, ur intended occupation once u land in canada etc...

the reports are sent by them directly to the VO.....it takes about 5 working days.....

I was surprised too seeing that there was no PCC request. But then maybe they think its obvious as we haven't submitted it before I think we will need your advice on how to get a PCC from the commissioner's office too. Glad to know that it doesn't take too long.

Thanks for the inputs on the Medicals process. Will call them on Monday then to fix up an appointment. And yes, we are from Bangalore too

seems like your consultant is playing foul with you. I think,It's time to withdarw/cancel the appointment of your representative. you have option to cancel his appointment by sending IMM 5476 form to your VO and this way you can ensure all correspondence from your VO sent to your address only.

I think the passmark for writing is 6.5 Not sure though. U may cross check it with cic.gc.ca
