Hi, i got my PER today, after much delay due to need to furnish CIO with General training IELTS (i applied with Academic,earlier). It would be appreciated if i am reverted to the tracker, as i am presently on the inactive users spread.Thanks

I agree with you that in many times what people say arise from their own perspective. Though trying to get as many opinions as possible usually sheds proper light on the discussed matter.

& personal circumstances as you say affects one's final decision (as in your case, being close to your current residence, friends & all).

In my case, we are going to try hard to get a job offer (or atleast some interviews) before going there & I don't think that we will be very picky with the jobs as long as they are in my husband's field of work & in a reasonable place.

No matter what job you get right away, it's your intentions, your aims , your persistence and how far you reach and succeed after all is done -thAt is what matters (and need i say , our KIDS and THEIR future, what chances and opportunities we give THEM - is even more of an accomplishment than anything we reach in our own lives).

Yes, it is your file number, but PER is yet to reach. Hopefully soon it will !

A very big congrats to you. This is the best news so far in this forum, IMo. London VO is still sleeping. My present residence permit in the UK is due to expire september 2011. Home office (British immigration) has increased their visa fee to £3,000 for me and my dependants for just a two year visa. Although we will qualify for our permanent resident visa after the 2 years and paying another £3,000+ for PR. How wish London VO will issue our visas before septmeber, that would have saved me at least £3,000.

Hello!

I am eagerly waiting for my med requests and haven't heard anything yet.

My eCas says "Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 3, 2011." Does that mean that they have probably dispatched the medicals request on the 3rd? Is it just postal delay?
People who have already got the med requests, Does the date on your letter match the date in eCas?

In my case, my Medical Request was sent a day after this: "your application has been reviewed and we have started processing on February 10, 2011
