Yes some visa offices are clearly very responsive.

In other news, the silence from London/Buffalo/Damascus is still deafening! :)

so Deafening ;-)

Wait until your E-cas status shows "Received by VO"
then infrom Singapore VO about your change of address through
https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=singapore

regards,

Dr.Hasib

singapore VO portal has clearly mentioned not to inform them about any birth, adoption, etc changes in application prior to receiving the ref no that starts with B followed by 9 digits. I received ref. no that starts with E in my PER email. can anybody pls confirm if the 2nd AOR will start with B or not?

I wrote to VO for some details and received promt reply (the next day). They just highlighted in my letter questions and answered each of it!!! Very pleased with such attitude :)

Here it is:

In response to your email inquiry of 9 March 2011, please see below for the answers to your specific questions.

Dear officer,

I would like to clarify minor issues with your request for workbook.

- Should I write my file number on the envelope? Which one to write:
B05----, E00---- or UCI -----?
Please ensure that any correspondence you have with our office includes at least one of the numbers you mention.

- Can I include newly received Police Clearance Certificate for me and my husband as it was not included in the initial package of documents (was not required to be included at that time)?
You may send any supporting documentation to our office at any time, including the new police clearance certificates. On receipt, they will be attached to your file for review by the visa officer.

- I cannot check my status electronically (e-cas). Is there some problem with my application in the system? I have tried all 3 numbers given.
It is likely that there is an error in the system. Please note that your file is still in a queue for review. We will communicate with you next steps.

- How long will it take to receive a medical request?
Our current processing deadline has been increased to six months before an application is seen by an officer. You can anticipate receiving medical instructions within the next month.

- Will be requested passports along with medical request or later?
Passports are only requested for successful applicants at the end of the process, once all eligibility and admissibility requirements are met.

I hope it was usefull for somebody ;D
We plan to send the package on monday (waiting for some additional documents to be ready to send)

Very professional and straight to the point.

+1 for Bucharest VO.

Btw, I need some PER news today. I am getting despirately close on the tracker; and London VO should pls get into action ;)

It looks like you belong to the pre June 2010 cohort. This thread is for Post June 2010 applicants. You may find relevant thread or start a new thread for your query here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/skilled-worker-professional-immigration-b4.0/

I got my mdeical request yesterday. I am in SA. The issue is relating to passport submission:
First page of the MR says:
"We require the following:
1) RPRF
2) Valid Passport or travel document for yourself Upon completion of all requirements This must be received at this office by: 04/16/2011.
Whereas, the last page of the MR says:
"Please DO NOT send your passports to us until we request them from you."

Anil

VO Delhi uses the same general number given on the website. They have technicallly advace system. Whenever any officer calls you, you only get the number as DelHI CHC number as given on the website i.e. +911141782000. If you try to call back you may just land up on the reception and no one would connect you further. So it is one way for applicants.

It is something like internal call routing to a single outgoing number, sorry I am trying to explain this to a dentist friend ;D ;D ;D

You may like to store this number

Dear Anil,
Thanks for your wishes. They called to my office phone number and the calls were diverted to my boss and me by our reception. So unfortunately, I do not know the number from where the call was received.

Hi Uncertain

Congrats for reaching this far and good luck ahead.

Can you pls share, did they introduced themselves calling from CHC ND or something else.

Will appreciate your response on this....

Unsure if this is "insider info" or just total guesswork? Post-June-26 getting priority from October 2011 onwards seems to me unlikely, given Manila and ND are already issuing medical requests and PPRs.

Not sure how much of this to believe.

Wayne.

Help Seniors please!

I am still waiting my 2nd AOR and about to update my status(about the new born) to visa office.
Do I have to wait my 2nd AOR from visa office before I update my information? What if I send to the VO by the Address?
I am so worried my case will be delayed due to this.Any experience please.
Thanks

i just wanted to know if there is a difference between "file number" & "application number" ? ::)

in my letters so far from CIC, the word "file number" denotes a number starting with "B05" and wherever they have mentioned "application number" it starts with "E00" :-X

has ny1 else noted this in their correspondence so far ::)
