well the e cas home page says in process..and this is since last 3 days...

I am sure it might be a bug cos my vo is buffalo and no way its processing anything until my hair is gray lol..and I'm just 26...

well no option then to wait.

In the details it says we received your application on 7th december and sent you a letter on 3rd March consider delays in mail.........

when I check the steps of immigration under FSW ....INPROCESS means it is in prosess at visa office...which cant be true because I got my PER last week....Just Confused.

Any thoughts

ECAS said in process after receiving PER for others too. I think thats the interim status between those that make sense like Application received, CIO ER complete and received by VO. In Process after received by VO, however is an accurate status as that means processing has begun at VO.
My status after PER was---> in process--->CIO ER complete--->in process---> received by VO(current status). the next time it says in process it means what it actually says

It should say 'In transit' instead. Same sets of status in my case also. After 2nd AOR it says 'In Process'. Not sure after medicals are requested.

Everyone seems to be added to ECAS with an initial status of "IN PROCESS", then after a few days it will change to the actual stage you're in.

Later on, after "Received by Visa Office" it will change to "IN PROCESS" again once it becomes genuinely in process.

Confusing, huh?

When did u send enquiry to CIO? please can u clarify the date u send enquiry?
I am also NOv applicant and have send enquiry but neither PER nor NER and now waiting for the enquiry reply.

I send enquery to CIO on 23 February and got reply on 8 March.

Good luck, I hope you will get PER.

Pls the date of the mail conveying the news of my PER is actually 8th March 2011, and not 9th of march.
Pls help me update it on the spreadsheet again.
Also, I found out that my Bank Draft was cashed on the 23rd December 2010, update pls!

We received your application for permanent residence on September 10, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on January 6, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 7, 2011.

It seems like we are heading a more transparent era in egypt with all the stuff moving around. Yeah with regards to the embassy as well being faster and to the event level till this moment. They have called me not to tell about the arrival of my package but to confirm that they are sending me a letter by dhl asking for medicals and police clearances Till this moment, I wonder about it and there are lots of ideas in my mind. ANyways, let's keep it simple and look forward to the next step with my deep prayers for you all too to get your medicals to be able to celebrate all together which is the best to happen for us all )

Thank you! Thank you, everybody!!! Today we spending our day to prepare these documents and I plan to attach some additional proofs of my working experience, just in case ... a little bit nervous.

Cur Rozen, congratulations !!! That's very good sign!! I'm delighted for you !

what do they mean by copy of workbooks?

IRG and acino,

Here according to the law you receive a "workbook" from your first day of work so ever. It is like your work's passport. There is mention all your education, companies you were/are working, your positions, salary, change in civil status. This workbook is unique for everybody is lasting from your first day of work till the retirement.

Maybe for them were not truly convincing working contracts, and they want another legal source to support my experience.

I plan to attach in addition annual legal notes for my salary and retributions that I am presenting each year for the tax declaration. Also plan to write a very good letter to explain one again all my positions, duties and circumstances.
