Well i did consider getting a TWP as i was offered by a few places. But thought it better to apply to apply using FSW and then see if i really want to move there once i do get it. Oh well lets see how things go.

FSW Category 1 is by far the best way of doing it, if you are eligible. Firstly you are doing all the legwork whilst still in your own country doing you current job, as opposed to having to have all the hassle of applying for residency whilst in a new job and a new country.

Secondly you won't have a work permit ticking away which must be a worry to some FSW2 applicants as the expiry time for their permit approaches and they still don't have visa.

Thirdly it means you can work anywhere in Canada, and not have to worry about being tied down to a parcularly company for the duration of your visa application if things aren't working out with the job.

Lastly please bare in mind if things don't work out - you can just move back. You will not be a Canadian citizen (and in fact cannot be for at least 3 years after moving there) so it gives you time to assess if it's the right thing for you.

These days I am quite low on morale to migrate to canada, as most of my friends and friends of freinds are "really really" struggling to get a job there. Most of them who quit their existing job and migrated, are now doing survival jobs, finding hard to earn mere 1500-1800 CAD.

Chicken ~ Egg game is played there. No work cos of no local experience and no experience because no work is being offered.

I just wanted to share this information for all those who are wondering how long does it take to get FBI clearance.

In the letter I received from them it says that they received it on 1/18 and returned it to me on 2/16 and I received my last week (don't remember exact date but around 3/1). That adds up to 6 weeks!

Also keep in mind that it depends on your place of residence how long it will travel before it reaches you. I live in US and 2 weeks is really long time for letter to travel, but it could be much longer if it is international address. I don't even know if they mail internationally? Maybe someone who had that experience can share...

Indeed. I have till 22nd June left on my work permit, thats around 15 weeks. Something tells me I'm probably going to need to get another one, and considering my employer has said he's not going to apply for another LMO for me, it means I'm going to have to start Job hunting, probably in April.

I would like to request everybody is, people who received Medical and passport request, it will be great help if you all can share your verification experience.

This will help us a lot to prepare for it mentally. If you all are comfortable the please share

- have you receive any verification call from VO?
- If yes ...please share your experience.

This is my personal view and if anyone not agree, discard it.
