Re: Application Cancelled (wrongly?) - Indian PCC

Assuming you have submitted both PCC from US and India in the same pdf file, perhaps the officer did not scroll all the way to the end. I have also been noticing lately that sometimes Adobe does not clearly show the image or cuts out some of it, but when I close and reopen again, everything looks fine.

Although unlikely, this could be what happened with your case.

I applied for my Indian PCC in California. Nowhere in the form, there was a space I could mention that the intent for PCC was migration to Canada. Will that be an issue ?
On page two, there is a grey box that has something along the lines of "Please specify the service applied for ______". You have to enter "Police Clearance Certificate for Canada" over there.

Exactly. The refusal clearly states that the PCC is not there, not that the PCC is of the incorrect type or for the incorrect period. OP, are you sure you've uploaded the PCC? Double check the file you uploaded.

100% sure. Just verified the file I had uploaded.

I have a feeling that's what's going on.

I thought we need to upload all the PCC separately. Correct me if I am wrong.

There's only one placeholder called Police Certificates (multiple).

You should raise a case specific enquiry. The worst that can happen is they don't respond.

You can apply again after you get the next ITA. You should have no problems with your score.

Re: Application Cancelled (wrongly?) - Indian PCC

yes only 1 slot.

merge all PCC's in single PDF and upload it.

Re: Application Cancelled (wrongly?) - Indian PCC

Wherever I had multiple files merged, I have added 1 more index page. What all statements, proofs, docs they will find in this file...

Have to make these apps idiot proof...

While this is a possibility, it sets me back by several months now! Not to mention that the PCC's are now older than 6 months. FBI was received mid August 2016 and Indian PCC was received end of October. Both are past 6 month mark.

Call them and discuss it. You'll get a faster reply by calling than by raising a CSE.
