I redid my IELTS and bumped up my score from 412 to 476.... and yet the cutoff was 735..... anyway, Im very optimistic because the next draw has to have my number in it..... :)

I have 452 points. Have a valid job offer, but no LMIA. By employer is helping with my PNP, but the time estimate given by the NL PNP office is ridiculous (almost 1 yr). Thank god my permit expires only on Jan 2017.

My scenario is kind of weird one, I got my Transport Canada Security Clearence(not easy to get fr an international student), working @ my dream job(NOC :0714) and completed 2 graduations in Canada,1 in India. I got my job opportunity the next the day I completed my graduation(Dec 2014).So already 1year in my bag, on Jan 2016 I will have 2yrs, which will obviously increase my points. Also planning to retake IELTS to get the max score(but I am waiting,to bag 2 yrs in my account frst),Moreover since IELTS validity is only 1 yr delaying this one makes more sense to me. But I am still not sure whether that point (arnd 520) will be enough without a PNP.

Time is running fast and their process is so slow. I am just worried whether everything will be completed @ the right time to get the 2nd AOR to get a bridging work permit. :(

Fingers crossed, hopefully who has worked hard fr a career and life in Canada, will get an ITA soon.Best of luck guys :D

Hey guys,
I'll add myself to the list.. 500 CRS.

It's a shame we missed the previous sub-600 draws.

Hope we all get an ITA this month..

I had to decline an ITA so as to avoid misrepresentation. I'm kicking myself

A period of employment. In my profile I made a mistake on my resignation date for a previous employer. It made no difference to my points, but my lawyer said it could be read as misinterpretation.

I was at 448 since the dawn of time and was a little pi**ed to just keep missing out on a few draws Then on June 1st CIC decided to award more points for Canadian employment so i've jumped to 461, and i'm a little more optimistic but not for a couple of draws yet, as that last one scared me!

Hi Guys,

I withdrew my EE profile today and will re enter it tomorrow (in the hopes of getting invite for OOPNP). If I get invite then my plan will be to hold off for a month or so before accepting (I believe there is a 45 day time) in the hopes that points will drop in the mean time and I will get ITA without needing to go PNP route. Does this sound like a good strategy, would appreciate your thoughts?

It wouldn't hurt to do it, if you have time on your existing permit I think. But you're on 534? I think you're going to get a draw in the next few weeks to be honest. If you were at 390 and plenty of time on your permit, I'd definitely recommend OOPNP. Just my 2 cents.

My permit's expired and I'm planning on leaving country in July (flights booked) and then coming back. Ya I figure at 534 I've got a decent shot but couldnt hurt dont think to re enter profile in order to get the OOPNP invite, just gives more options. Hoping both of us (I think your 500+ aswel) get ITA in the next month and accepting the invite won't be necessary. I'm kinda similar to yourself in that I wish I'd been able to get my shit together in time for the March/April draws, if I'd gotten ITA in March wouldnt be in this position now. Hopefully the points will drop again, wont need to spend $1500 and will get ITA. Anyone elligible for OOPNP in my view should at least be putting themselves in a position where they will get invite. Accepting the invitation is not mandatory and having an extra option to boost your points is always a good thing in my view. This is particularly true for any in the low 400's because it's possible PNP may be only option to getting ITA

My employer is doing the paper PNP application for me, so I'm not going to bother with the EEPNP.
