I wouldn't say fear, it's a mix of different factors actually (at least for me)... on one side, I never visited Canada so I don't know how would it feel, I have friends there, it's not actually going into dark but it will be huge adventure (hopefully pleasant). on the other side, I'm leaving family and friends here and I don't know how it will affect me on the long run (I'm not nostalgic person by nature but this is very different experience). I know we will need time to adjust, get to know everything and so on, but that part I'm ok with, and I can't wait to start with all that.

You're absolutely right. I wouldn't say it better my self ;)
Just go for it, you'll love it, I hope ;D
I did ;D

Any news today? MR, PR ... I haven't been in Canada also, I'll leave my friends and family here too, have no one there, but still want to go and don't want to think about separation and adjustment at this point ::)

Same here...Never been there but for some reason I trust it's destiny to get there.
Me neither have no one there.

No other news yet unfortunately. :(

Ghostrideryu I would like to ask you something.
How did you receive your AOR? As I can see VO does not inform people about that.

Also, there is FSW global spreadsheet that says that the average time between PER and MR is 89 days.
Is this true? I see that you are waiting little longer than that. I am worried because we are the same NOC - 0113.
Does NOC plays any important role at this moment?

Thank you for your time.

Vienna office does not issue AOR so I did not got any, but I did sent enquiry via email to check the status and got feedback that application is received as of...and that it is pending to be processed.
That day I consider as my AOR, just wrong wording I used maybe.

When it comes to MR waiting some other memebers waitied even longer and have same NOC as we do so I am not worried. Our turn should come shortly. It may be few days or few weeks away but will come eventually.
Average time is 90 days as many said.

Cheers!

im still waiting for COPR ..it have been more than 30 days since I paid RFPR...36 days ...lol...still waiting....hmm ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)
to all of you who never been in Canada ..dont worry ..just try to find apartment ..maybe basement cus yoo dont have a Canadian history and you dont have someone who will be able to be your insurance ..sometimes if you look kijiji adds or craigslist you can contact a owner and explain to him your situation so that you can have a aprt right away ( so you dont have to go to motels) .
Evan do everyone say .."you have to find a your job in your occupation " but you have to buy a food, pay rent ..so try to find anything and look for "your job" and if you can afford find college or course that will be in occupation fild...

i can relate to you guys, who have never been abroad, and the "fear" of unknown and effects of "leaving everything and everyone" behind... however, not one of us (i'm pretty confident NO ONE!) has decided to take this step because they were bored. everyone is looking for better future for its kids or themselves. if we could manage to fulfil all of the requirements for this program, and fill out those never ending forms, trust me, you will be fine over there! and once your paychecks start pouring in, you will forget about most of unease your relocation has caused. and after a while, when you become financially stable, and you afford so send some money to your family or relatives, you will feel very proud and contented. so, try to focus on that feeling ;) everything will be much easier 8)

Martina, why don't you write an email and ask VO? You are scaring me, my passports are in Vienna and I have already bought tickets ???

vikiwow, it's different for "us", who are not in the EU, don't worry. croatians need to wait for COPR to get it in the email on home address, and since they've requested your passports, it is certain that you will get them back ten days from the day they receive it. relax

however, it is really strange, martina hasn't gotten it yet...

I do not want to allude to incomplete transaction, but...
Have you checked whether they tried to withdraw the money or not? They have clearly stated in the RFPR email they sent that they expect the exact amount of money to be paid into their account.
I think that the only way to be sure that no additional costs will be needed is to pay with CC.

A new week ahead,
I hope it will be lucky for all.
