Each beginning has a certain difficulties which in most cases are undeniable. But there are certain aspects that can positively affect the entire process and help to facilitate the best.
I have the same stance with my wife regarding the forthcoming immigration. We will pretend that the first day on Canadian soil is the first day of our marriage, new start, new endeavor. We have to find a new job, because the previous one is monotonous and we need a new venture. We have to make a new home in new neighborhood, to buy our first car, to meet new friends, and so on... We believe that this will help us to control our fear and not to let overwhelmed and stop us on our way to pursuit happiness.

How can I add +1 to this approach ?

I would just add that all you need is a little bit logistical help from some friends for the first one or couple of weeks - the first task is to find job and than you are all set. Well every new beginning has its own burden to be taken, but that's until you get used to the system, after that the conclusion would sound like "its easy to switch the ride from donkey on to horse"

Last night I sent an email to Vienna visa office asking if they have our medical results (done upfront). They responded today, stating that "results are received and acceptable". They are only waiting for my PC, and papers are on the way

As I conclude based on timelines seen here, I think that anything up to one month waiting is regular. If you don't receive any update in a week or so you can ask.
I know we are all impatient

Can they ask for additional doc. after medicals. They didn't ask for a new PC. And we have send a copy of the Military book with the application.

They might run additional background check, if they think it is necessary for further processing, but this is rare case scenario. I know it sounds scary but it happens.
You should not be worry if you are still within a month time frame after medical is done. You can send email whenever you want but that will not have any impact on speeding the processing time.
You are almost done, do not worry, start looking for tickets

I've been following this topic for some time and I decided to sign in. Finally
I got my PER on 25.02.2015. so I believe it is early to expect MR soon. But who knows
Anyways, I spent some time last year in Ontario. If any of you have any question I'll be glad to share my experience with you.

Now, some of you said that you (or your spouses) have second thoughts or fear about moving to Canada. I have same situation with my wife. But, only someone who haven't visit Canada yet, have that fear of unknown. And that is normal, I think.
At first it will be difficult for all newcomers, but very soon you will find what you are looking for. I am sure about that.

I wouldn't say fear, it's a mix of different factors actually (at least for me)... on one side, I never visited Canada so I don't know how would it feel, I have friends there, it's not actually going into dark but it will be huge adventure (hopefully pleasant). on the other side, I'm leaving family and friends here and I don't know how it will affect me on the long run (I'm not nostalgic person by nature but this is very different experience). I know we will need time to adjust, get to know everything and so on, but that part I'm ok with, and I can't wait to start with all that.
