As emauki said, i thougt this thread was closed since nothing was happening in vienna LO! I'm thrilled to see so many of you guys finished and finishing up the process. Congrats to all of you. I lost track, have you seen Bozance from macedonia recently? What ever happened with her app?

I am here, still waiting for MR. Nothing so far.
My baby has only 2 months so most of the time I spend around her and that's the reason I am rarely here. But I follow you and if you need me I am always here for everyone

Did anyone try to contact them, there must be something wrong with a Vienna Office if they did not even start to work on June applicants, they are really moving to slow.

What if we contact them? Official processing time is 19 months for Viena. It's really strange how they fasten applications at start and now no one has heard anything from them ::)

Well, that time is not accurate, actually processing time for FSWP in Vienna office is from 13 to 15 months, of course if all the documents are in order.
Someone already posted in this forum actual processing times and the explanation on how did they get that 19 months time.
You said it yourself, they have started processing them really fast and I believe some people got their PR in 7 to 8 months, so obviously they are able to do it much faster then they are doing it now. My only concern is what will happen when EE applications start to come in, I hope that we will get MR request by the time they start to pile in. I think we have maybe around 1 month or up to 6 weeks until that happens.

They should speed-up before EE applicants come

I hope they will send us MR before EE applicants too.Don't want to be pessimist but we have seen that this year 2014 applicants got their visas before some 2013 app. They could start with EE along with ours. And does processing time counts from time we applied or from time our file reached Viena Vo? Fingers crossed, hope to hear from them soon. I'am very anxious atm :P

Yes, me too. MR is basically last step before getting PR. I also think that they are lazy, since they already showed that they can do process much faster and now they have stop almost completely. Maybe we should contact CIC instead of Vienna and ask them about this, maybe they can put a little pressure on them, although I doubt that.

Read this article:
http://www.canadavisa.com/long-delays-canadian-immigration-application.html

So if there are delays in processing the CIC will ask the Visa Office to explain the situation.

I just spoke with some people and one of them have applied at the end of June, got his medical in mid November and his PR was approved couple a days ago. Other person application was received at beginning of November and also got PR already which is super fast, and that person was under FTSP program.
The biggest difference between most of us and them I presume is that they where in Canada during process and we are not. So maybe that is the reason why they got PR so fast.

They are from Vienna VO? What's the problem with us then? :o

As I said, I believe that main difference is that they are in Canada and we are not. And yes, they both went through Vienna Office.
I understand that some applications because of the complicity will take longer to process but the second person I have spoke, received PR after only 3 and a half months and I dont care under which program someone is, but I think this type of selective processing is not fair to rest of us. If I dont get my MR in next two weeks I will send serious protest note to CIC about Vienna Office.

I got medical request in November and haven't heard from Vienna since.I am in Canada ,so I think it makes a difference if you're outside canada since I am waiting for over 20 months to get final decision.
