Help !!!
I got email from VO Vienna. They require updated proof of funds with 6 moths banking history.
I have that money but I am scared to keep them in a bank.
When I applied I went to one bank, put them on my account, I've just opened and after they issued me bank statement with the ammount I took the money.
When my baby was born I did the same.
So how can I send proof of funds with 6 months banking history?!
What should I do? If I don't send this doc they will reject my application
You should'n have done that. It is not an unusual situation that they ask for this.
You, definitelly, can't send an account history since you don't have one. You should send a letter, as someone adviced, explaining your reasons. You could say that banks in Macedonia are not safe, have no credibility with their clients (like in Serbia during '90 when all clients werer robbed of their foreign currency savings - I don't know if the same situation happened in MC). If you have a safe deposit box you could send them a contract claiming that you kept the money in that safe (of course, you can't open it now because the contract is dated). If it is a Greek bank (I know that there are many in MK) you could say that you were afraid of the political/economic situation (which was validated by their elections last week) in Greece since Greeks themselves are redrawing money from their banks for months.
These are just some of my thoughts, but you, definitely, must give them some reasons. Maybe you could try asking them if it is possible to go to some neghbouring countries to open an account. And, keep saying tha you do have the money with you.
I'm really curious why did they pick you of all the people to ask for this confirmation. Was it an exact amount, or was it rond (like 23.000,00 CAD)?
@akvarium - someone in the forum recently mentioned that X-ray technicians can provide you with some kind of shield in order to protect your baby during the shooting. I don't know if that is possible but it sounds too risky for me (it's just me). You, certainly, should contact your designated doctor and inform her/him on your condition. I'm quite sure that they have a procedures for these situations, I doubt that you are the first pregnant applicant ever. They will, probably, suggest to postpone the medicals until you give birth and inform CIC about that. Even though it prolongs your visa issuance and keeps you restless, it solves your problem with baby's PR status.
