If they are planning to send u Medical Request soon, they might hold on the reply till then. However, if u got no response after 4 weeks, I would advise u to send an email inquiry with the subject as ***URGENT***(fsw case no xxxxxxxx). U can write the subject however u want but the word URGENT in caps is important.

Well, I wouldn't count on that.
But I agree, that you should e-mail them again once the 4-week timeframe has expired.

Welcome :)
Your timeline is rather similar to mine. Did you ever receive an AOR from Berlin before transfer to Vienna?

Guys, Vienna seems to be working on pre-C50 cases at the moment, clearing the backlog.
I just noticed someone elses timeline (hopeful4) who is a 2007 FSW-1 applicant and who received MR in march 2013 / PPR in april 2013. Also other old applications had progress recently.
So I am really interested in the new stats.

Thanks BC2013! Sure our timelines are really similar.Yes I received AOR from Berlin sometime around mid April 2012 but never received any AOR from Vienna even after files were supposedly transferred (According to CIC website) there. Did you ever receive AOR from Vienna?

You seem to be getting informed about older fsw applications. To me,it doesn't really make sense that they now work on really older applications while new ones are piling up when they are suppose to be responding to current labour market needs in their country.Anyway, they know better what is good for them..

BC2013, That's interesting but the figures on the January stats conflicts with that fact. I looked at pre-c50 for Vienna as of Jan 08 2013 and the figure shows that total application is 145 and that final decision has been reached on 145. By that figure, it means that the backlog had been cleared. The same thing goes with MI2 that was 10 and final decision is reached on all 10. MI3 has decision reached on 25 cases, 67 cases still pending which makes total MI3 to be 92. Its looking as if the figures on their statistics doesn't conform with reality...
What do u think?

I received an AOR from Berlin in march, nothing from Vienna. In an answer to a CSE, they "confrmed the reception of my file" in october. However, I don't think this qualifies as an official AOR.

Regarding older applications, I noticed this on this forum, and on another tracker, which covers mostly older cases (http://www.trackitt.com/canada-immigration-trackers/federal-skilled-workers). And yes, I thought they would prioritize more recent applications. Well, nothing we can do about it, though. However, when the backlog is cleared, they will get to our cases.

I think I need to recheck those. I think that the stats meant that for MI2 they had 10 cases awaiting final decision and (these) 10 cases were still open. The data - as I recall - is titled "open cases / awaiting decision(s)", or so. Therefore, there were around 150 pre-c50 cases still open.
