Hi everyone...

I need your suggestions...I file my online visa application, showed my scholarship and RA-ship as my financial proof. In reply, I got a msg from CIC that I need to show more funds to cover all my living cost and travel to canada. I will be on PhD studies for 4 years.

Unfortunately, I don't have any maintained account at present. But I have the funds to show. Can someone tell, in what ways I can show CIC my finances under current situation. I have gone through CIC website, they have enlisted various options for showing financial support. But in (Lahore) Pakistan how any of these options can be availed.


Need urgent response from you people. Thank You.

brother i showed arround 25 lacs , for the proof i showed affidavit attested by notary.
if you have money and you do have a property named either yours parents or yours or any of ur siblings.
make an affidavit , showing that u sold that property and do get attested by the notary.
to make your case strong , the payment u will deposit in the bank may be in the form of Demand Draft/Pay Order.
if u still have any reservations , feel free to ask .
my bank statement was just 1 and a half month old

Thanks Adil Sulehri for your reply.

From your response I get the following:
1) Deposit required amount in cash/Demand Drfat/Pay Order, in my or parents account.
2) Extract bank statement from that account.
3) Make an affidavit (stating the source of that money)
4) Sponsorship letter (As I will be showing my parents as my sponsors)

Correct me if I am wrong. By the way, I have already show $23K in the form of RA and scholarship. But still CIC is asking for more. bit strange to me. Whereas on their website they have asked to show at min. tuition fee plus $10K to support your study permit application.
