Canadian Visa Office today now open in Karachi. I guess this is the main Cause, They are strongly encourage you to apply online or through the VAC (either in person or by mail) as applications submitted directly to the visa office will take longer to process.

today at around 4 pm i received this email from CIC but there was no attachment with the email.......... is the medical email for paper based applicants same like this??? i couldnt see the attachments because there were not any at all....... plz reply

dude seeing the attched pdf is not easy, you have to pay real close attention to the screen.

when you click on your message, the page will reload and show you the same image. but if you look closely, there will be a new link at the bottom of the page. It will say "CLick here to read this message" or something like that. Click that link, and a new pdf will open. Best of luck mate

echelon i have talked to farhan , he has applied papar baesd , so he does not have a profile on cic.gc.ca site , its for those who has applied online , just like me, T$ and ECE Engr.
the procedure u told is (Y).

farhan tell me the email address of sender ... and if there is a real medical letter then there should be an attachment of medical form ... the best possible way is to call CIC islamabad and discuss with them and tell him about this email and your details .... you will clear ur mind right after call them !!! best of luck!

yaaar i received an email, i dont have an online account....... actually a few days back i sent cic a query regarding what my uci number etc is to another email account but today i received the email from client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca, there was no attached document but the email stated about an attached document this is why i am confused, i have forwarded the problem to chc isb. but lelts seee what happens, i was wondering may b it is just an update of my case, this is why i wanted to ask any paper based applicant who has recieved the medical call, to guide me
