today i have recieved an email from the following email:

(Client-update-mise-a-jour at the rate cic.gc.ca)

the email included my UCI and application no.

it also stated that

"Please find information concerning your application in the attached document.If you are unable to view the attached document or did not receive a document, please advise us by forwarding this e-mail to dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=islamabad"

unfortunatly there were no attachements!

can any1 pl help me out what this email corresponds to???!!!!

taha we have a spreadsheet for 2013 september candidates........... plz update your information in there............. you will find it in a thread named plz share your details........... its a thread started by RKAZI,
and brother some of us have also received this email its a letter of introduction or POI but we do not no much about this. nor have we been issued any medicals yet so lets seee what happens now. however, plz forward your details to the link provided in that email accordingly.

yaaaar i love you alllll in shaaa Allah visa lag gaya toe Canada jaaa k immigration law practice karun ga hahahahha and tum sab ka immigration case main he karun ga hahahahhahahahhah
anyways dont worry in shaaa Allah sab shi ho ga like look 4 forum members ko woh email i hai kal vali and sab ko medical b aajye ga meiny appointment lay li hai IOM lahore ki 18th ko subah 8:30 pay so any guidaance??????????????????????????

Many congratulations dear.

Here are my two cents:

1. Keep around Rs. 6000 with you. IOM used to charge this much amount when I took my medical 3 months back
2. Dont forget your eye-glasses if your eye sight is weak
3. Copies of your passport and CNIC. Also original passport if you have it
4. Original document deposit slip (Fedex/TCS)
5. Photographs
6. And most importantly dont get nervous while giving chest x-ray.

Be there well in time and you will be good to go.

I am from Pakistan.I had a hole in my heart and had a heart surgery 10 years back.as it is 10 years back so i have no surgery documents now.Now I am applying for canadian Student Visa.Is my visa can be denied based on this Heart surgery. I am fully fit and have perfect health(100%) now. Does the Medical Examiner of canadian Embassy make this thing problematic ?

Kindly do reply if any of you know any authentic answer about it !

well even if you dont have any documents you neeed to tell the IOM about this and its better for you if you could plz get a chest xray before going to iom.. dont worry if ALLAH wants you to go to canada no body can stop you in shaa Alllah

As already mentioned, it is better that you tell them before hand. In general if you are perfectly healthy now and there is no risk of this placing significant burden on canada's heath insurance policies, there is a little chance of any concern raised due to this. But this is just an opinion. At any rate, disclosure is of vital important. Otherwise, even if you don't tell them and get through medical successfully, but they discover this latter, they can deport you stating you lied on your profile earlier.
