That means now a days status is changed first. Now we should get AOR upto 10.12.09. It may contain New File Number, Receipt of RPRF (if sent), Remaining documents (if any), Remaining requirements like IELTS etc. (if any). Or anything else?
Then let's see when eCAS changes to 'In process' and 'Review Complete'. It will be interesting to share the time line of each as 2009 is about to end and Christmas is approaching!
I haven't received the AOR yet. Could there be any other reasons for that.? (My status has changed to "Received by visa office". What do you guys say..?
pvkks2000, You wanted to know the content. But you already received yours too. Congratulations! If you post the date of AOR receipt in your signature, its great.
Have received the receipt of RPRF also? Or it is yet to be sent? My internet connection was lost for 2 days so I could not reply immediately.
GIAWM, Though you didn't get your AOR in mail, the changed status on e-CAS indicate positive signal. So don't worry. You will receive it in a few days.
Thank you for ur response, i am yet to send my RPRF, i have a question for u, since april 2009, i am in india, i didnt send my PCC for india, along with my application, but i have sent my FBI clearance from USA where i worked for last 6 years.do i have to wait for chc delhi to request for my pcc in india or can i take it now and update my file. kindly comment on this.
pvkks2000, PCC are required for each country in which you have stayed for more than 6 months. In India, from April 09 it will be 6 months on Oct. 09. And you submitted your file on 12.11.09. So you could have submitted it with your complete file.
However start the procedure to get it. It takes 3 weeks. If you get it early send it to ND. Otherwise you can send it with Passports after medicals or if they demand before medical. But think it is inevitable.
how to get my pcc in india,do i have to go to my local police station, or get it from the passport office, normally the passport office will put a stamp on my passport. do chc accepts that.

You can get it from the Passport office. I gor got it from Passport office. Normally the will give you a PCC printed on a paper with the round seal and also there will be stamping regarding the same in your passport.
I had sent the notarized copy of the passport page, and the originals to CHC ND
pvkks2000, I am unaware of the procedure to get PCC from Passport Office. I have sent PCC obtained from Police Commissioner from the city in which I live.
GIAWM, Have you received AOR? The content is simple. It states interview if conducted, will be intimated one month in advance. Complete procedure takes 8 months. We have to contact them if nothing is heard within 3 months. For NRI it takes more time. You can study some websites about your intended place to land & profession. Receipts will be forwarded for DD taken. That's all.
My status changed to "In Process". .... The status on CIC website says "We have started processing on December 3rd". What shall I expect next...?
One thing that worries me a lot is , I haven't received the AOR for the full application from New Delhi.. I haven't even sent the RPRF along with the full application. So if I get a correspondance from them only, I will be able to know what to do next (Medicals, RPRF etc) .Seniors please advice...
