but the problem is it is possible that u have borrowed this money from someone and its not ur money thats why CIC asks for bank statement if u wont add the bank statement they will ask for it after medical call (if all other things are ok) so I dont think its a good idea not adding bank statement I recommend atleast 4 month bank statement 6 months old statement will be very good.. and statement should be maintained, it means money should be transferred to the account regularly not like lacs at once,, this is not the right way

Bro i dont have my father's bank statement.. i just have 6000000rs in my account, is thr any other way to sort this problem out.. i mean how can i give proof of this money.

Do we have to open an bank account in canada before we apply for visa,even If your father is one who will support you for studies?

Or you can simply say Do we have to tranfer funds to our account in canada?

No there is no need to transfer funds to your account. Simply show your father's bank statement of 4 months and proof of support.

what if is it for MAY ?

It doesn't matter if its for May hopefully you will get your visa soon Insh'Allah. By the way if you applied for September than it is possible that CIC may not issue you visa so soon, so keep it in mind that it can take upto 1 to 2 months. And if you have undergone medicals than chance of refusal is very very low so just be patient.

They will think that If u sold that station 2 years back, why the transaction of 6000000rs is done just now, where was this money for the last 2 years? If u have all the documents how can u show that it has been sold? :-\ :-\

Bro tell me plz... i was talking about sale deed n other sale document of gass station. and then i bought gold of that money and having reciepts... and then i sold that gold now and having sale reciepts too. is it gonna work like that?

Now a days Embassy is rejecting alot of students for not providing 4-6 month bank statement although they provide source i.e sale deed. So it is always advised to show 6 month bank statement

Is it true that one should aply for visa only within 120 days before the start of course. Like I have acceptance for september' 14 intake at dalhousie for MEng. Should I wait till may or apply right now. I have heard that if you apply before the time frame, your case might get in pending. Please reply.

Proof of financial support
You must prove that you can support yourself and the family members who accompany you while you are in Canada. You can prove that you have sufficient funds to support yourself in Canada by showing some of the following:

proof of a Canadian bank account in your name if money has been transferred to Canada;
proof of a student/education loan from a financial institution;
your bank statements for the past four months;
a bank draft in convertible currency;
proof of payment of tuition and accommodation fees;
a letter from the person or institution providing you with money; and
proof of funding paid from within Canada if you have a scholarship or are in a Canadian-funded educational program.

its canadian official site. they mentioned that u can show student loan(proof of a student/education loan from a financial institution) how can ppl say that u will be refused if u show student loan. Can some 1 explain me?
