I am planning to apply for visa by the end of this month for sept 2014 intake, my all dox are almost ready but i still have one question and i would appreciate if anyone clears it.

My parents will fund me for my study, travelling and living expenses but i would be living there with my aunt who is Canadian citizen.

Will i require to submit any of my Aunt's documents? and what dox would that be? Or i should state that where i would be living in Canada in my SOP?

Thank you.

In application form for visa it is required "to provide details about the cost of your studies in the following sections:

Tuition
Room and board
Other (e.g., books, transport, pocket money, etc.)"

Do i have to provide this information for 2 year or 1 year??? My program is 2 year for total of 24K (concordia MEng)
Also what do i put in Room and Boarding and Others? in my admission letter total living expenditures for 1 year is written as from 13k to 18K while on CIC site for Quebec its i think 11K$

Dear All,

I got my acceptance letter for PG Certificate from Conestoga college of Sep 2014 intake.

I need your guidelines regarding the visa application. Please note that I am Pakistani national and presently working in Saudi Arabia and will apply from here. Please guide me with the checklist of documents required for the visa application as well funds required to show and will I pay my 1st semester fee before visa application? My course total fee is $13,200 Cdn for 2 Semesters (8 months), my wife and daughter(2.5 years old) will accompany me.

Waiting for your kind and valuable feedbacks Smiley.

Regards,

Imran Rana

Hey guys, I applied for my visa in October and since then I have misplaced my receipt from VFS Karachi. What should I do in order to collect my passport?

They want me to make an affidavit but what should I write in it? Please share your experiences. Thanks

Hmm sounds like a good idea. I swear this entire process has been a pain in the ass. It's sooooo much easier applying for USA than Canada.

I found my receipt yay.

But I'm not talking about the losing the receipt part. When you apply for USA, you find out instantly if you have been accepted or rejected. And they are willing to listen. Trust me when I say this, it's more stressful applying to Canada. But I guess once you get there, it gets better.

If you have applied in USA and Canada, it would be easier to compare. I'm here to share my experience/thoughts only.
