Did u gave ur e-mail Id, they usually send a letter of introduction that confirms your acceptance, did u received a e-mail from embassy?

No I didn't!! But I didn't apply online either. Is it bad that I haven't received an email like that? Hopefully I will pick up my passport tomorrow afternoon since it was dispatched yesterday.

i want to apply for canada student visa in sept session.

B.A. 2004
hotel management course in 2005
DID JOB IN 'CAFE DE GOLF' 2005 to 2008
IN 2009 I WENT TO CYPRUS FOR HOTEL MANAGEMENT BUT CAME BACK AFTER 7 MONTHS BECAUSE EDUCATION LEVEL WAS VERY LOW.
IN 2010 WENT TO AUSTRALIA AND DID:
CERTIFICATE IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT FROM AUSTRALIA 2011
DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT FROM AUSTRALIA 2012
CAME BACK TO PAKISTAN NOW WORKING IN CAFE DE GOLF RETURANT AS FRONT OFFC MANAGER.
NOW WANT TO GO FOR hospitality management-hotel and restaurant to canada.

What you think chances to get visa?
please some 1 tell me either i apply or not with this history of studies

Have u got admission in any University or College on the basis of your desired program? If u have already secured admission in your desired program of study in a recognized institute then you can apply for study permit. I don't see anything wrong with your qualifications plus you have good travel history as you came back home after your studies in Australia.

Don't worry you will get email soon. Your visa is 100% confirm Insh'Allah since they asked u for your deferred LOA.

No there is nothing wrong with that because u didn't gave ur e-mail ID. Did u collected ur passport?

I actually did give my email since they emailed me to send in updated LOA and that my passport has been dispatched. I have received these emails but I didn't receive any email about acceptance of visa.

I will hopefully pick it up tomorrow or Monday if it reaches my VFS office from Islamabad.

So the test u have to give is scheduled in Canada? What if u got less then 65% in that? Wastage of precious money... is there any way out of this condition? like u re-appear in Ielts n get a better band score, that would be a safer option. I think VO will also have some reservation on that

I had to do a placement test for my program. I opted to fly to Canada and do it on campus. However, they offered for me to arrange to have the test done in my home country if I could find an educator who could monitor that I wasn't cheating my test. My campus needed to approve that educator as well.

BTW - I'm from a visa exempt country. It might be different for you guys.

what they asked u or what they talked about,, and honestly there is no sensible explanation for this delay,, all I can say that there is security check which is causing otherwise this usually don't take that long,, good luck

yup its very normal, it can take upto 2 months,, btw how long it took u to get the medical call..
