PPR still not there for me ...
If I don't receive my PPR soon I hope to, at least, receive my 2nd GCMS notes in the next few days ...

j'avoue que je ne comprends pas non plus ... surtout que j'ai cru comprendre qu'il y avait beaucoup de français (ou francophones) qui l'ont déjà reçu ...
j'essaie de me dire que le PPR arrivera quand ça arrivera (si ça arrive bien sur ... ) mais qu'est ce que c'est chiant et long d'attendre !

Je connais des Janvier qui l'ont eu il y a déjà un bon moment... Pourquoi nous on poireaute !! Enfin toi en 1er depuis le 19/12...

Je désespère de recevoir le mail ou au moins de voir un mouvement ! Je pense que le jour où il va y avoir du mouvement je vais en tomber de ma chaise !

Sinon tout comme toi, je me dis que chaque jour qui passe nous rapproche inéluctablement du grand jour

A new week ... yesterday I called the CIC in canada or was my file, the very nice person told me that my file was in Paris and that therefore they could not know or it was... I'm moderately reassured, with all the bridges, the elections, I come to tell me that maybe they have frozen the issuance of the PPR until new Government instructions, in short I stress! Laughing out loud! If 120 days today for me...

I've seen in the December 2016 tracker that someone received the PPR from Paris on 02/05/2017 ... So I guess Paris office still works ... but ... extremely slowly ... I just hope that the new French government set up has nothing to do in Canada PR application process of Paris visa office ... because otherwise, we would receive our PPR in 2018 ! ha ha

Yesterday night (Paris time), I received my 2nd GCMS notes (generated on Aprll 19th.) but unfortunately for me, there is no change at all from the 1st GCMS notes (generated on March 15th).

Here is my status as per the notes :
Eligibility : Not started
Security : Not started
Criminality : In Progress (in progress for my wife for her RCMP check (result: no reportable trace) but not started at all for me ...)
Medical : Passed

I don't know how far I am from the "finish line" since the eligibility, security and my criminality (mine) were not even started (as of April 19th) ...
With this => I don't expect to receive the golden PPR email before June or July (even August) at least ...

Anyway; it seems that there is no other choice than be more and more patient ...

You don't want to try to call the CIC to find out where your file ? You'll may be have more information ?
After there is hope, the situations are sometimes unlocked quickly

Yeah, I will try to call CIC later this week or early next week when I will have more time to spend over the phone ...

I understand your point ... you must be very impatient now ...
I start to believe that CIC selects specific PR applications to process in priority that match with Canada job needs in manpower (or whatever others reasons) ... coz I really don't see why some March applicants have PPR faster than ours (despite it is not the same visa office than ours ...)

in my case, I was hoping that my application would go a little bit faster ... my wife and I are both under 35 years old, both holding master's degree, both speaking fluently french and English, with a new born child, recognized (by CIC) experience in Asia with NOC 0731 for me, financially OK, etc ...
and still I see that my PR applications has barely been reviewed ...

Anyway, I wish us all a speedy PPR
