As per the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India's rule..... If u have got married, u have to inform PP office and get endorse your spouse name on PP and failure to do so is breaking the law of PP. On the other hand if your are divorcee u have to do the same to get remove the name of spouse.... This was the info shared to me by RPO Ambala at the time I applied for PCC...!! My name was on wife's PP and they issued her PCC but her name wasn't on my PP they didn't issue me PCC coz it was illegal by them....So I arranged PCC from SP office then later get my wife's name on PP and sent the copy of new PP to CHC NDVO.

Come to point...U must need to remove your spouse name form your PP, more over at the time of landing they can ask u question about your spouse and can create hassle (very rare chance as u got visa but recommend)

You should cheer up after all you have done you medicals. If I were you, you should start packing your loads now so that you wouldn't start rushing at the dying minute ;D ;D 8)

First of all I would like to congrat you your Permenent Visa of Canada. I am very happy to see this forum is growin and running fast.
best wishes for you and tushar and your families from me.

I read that you are landing in Toronto, Toronto is One of Best cities in world to live and enjoy Canada and I am sure you are going to enjoy your all life once you land there..

Just one advice for you and tushar and all other forum members who are coming to Canada.

make sure you will have almost around 50-60 passport size photos for you and all family members when you come here.
you will need alot of passport size photos.

I am saying this not because you can't get pictures done here, I am saying this because in Toronto Passport size pic charges start from $5.99+13%tax per pic, so you can imagine how much money you will have to spend as in starting you will need pics for alot of things one of them is P.R card and many more.

and cheapest price of taking passport size picture is $2.99 plus taxes just at one place and it is only in Malton.

so make sure you have at least 50 passport size pics of each family member with you. Its very cheap in India like 50 pics of Rs. 45 i guess.
(Also if possible get that pic on any usb or any c.d and you can print get them printed at walmart at very cheap price)

This is a very small thing and not everybody thinks of it.

A very appreciable and nice thought shared by Syrust.....Also please see the respective websites for picture size as there is little difference in size of pass pictures i.e 65% of pictures should be your face like that etc.. so bring pictures in diif shapes and sizes. otherwise in toronto and mississauga "Print To go " charge $4.99+ tax for two pictures.

Friends i hv one question my ecas shows DECISON MADE on 9 july my VO is new delhi but hongkong visa office process my file on behalf of NDVO every thing is done its 2 week passed no address change any idea about maximum time taken by VO to send back my passport or i contact them about this if yes then how??
