Hi Lucky, thanks for sharing your details on thread and gr8 to know that we have many silent members too..!!
Congratulation for your Medical Request..Stay fit for that!! Answer for your question is given as under.
1. Rs 51,940 for a couple in favor of Canadian High Commission payable at New Delhi (Dependent under 18 are exempt)
2. Send updated original PCC for you and all dependent who are 18+ from any country u have stayed more than 6months (including India)
3. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp ($20654 = Rs 12 lcs (safe side)
4. If u think the passport is OK and have not that much problem (damage pics or personal info) then better send the Old passport. If CHC will not be happy with it, they may request for new PP. But sending a new PP will delay your process for 6-8 weeks. If they will reject the Old PP then u can apply for tatkal PP and again it may delay the process for 2 months. So take a chance with old PP and if u are lucky then u will get through.
best of luck

Hi Mr. Babbu,
Now my queries are as follow:-
1. How much is RPRF in Indian currency?
2. I have submitted my PCC (original) at the time of application. Do I need to send it again now and whether I can send the second copy which I got at that time as Passport office gave me a set of two copies of PCC?
3. How much proof of funds do I need for a family of 4 in Indian currency?
4. One very important question is that my passport have some stains on first page. At the time of applying for PCC the executive at TCS had advised me to get a new fresh passport booklet by renewing it but as I was very eager to apply I ignored that. Now I want to know should I renew my passport first and then go in for medicals?
I will be highly obliged and greatfull if my queries are answered by big shots like ...Babbu, Jaggi, Rawlin and other senior members.
