Hey my friend whose application had reached CIO on Dec 04, 2012 and who got his medical in mid of February 2014 got passport request...proclivity...I am guessing you should get a request soon too...
Thanks for your information. That's good news. I hope that happens. But because I added my wife and I did medical exam late, I would expect a lot delay.

Is it possible to be requested for documents more than once?

I already sent my document requests on October 2013. But they didn't ask for POF. Do you think I should send one?

Thanks,

I think it is possible. I got POF and after I submitted it I got RCMP finger print request.
I do not support sending documents proactively.

He did it within 2-3 days of getting a medical request...around 18-21 Feb...but his medicals got uploaded only two weeks back (on ecas it said they received his medicals)

Really? How come the clinic sent his results to cic long after the exam? The clinic I went to sent my results to cic on April 5th, but I haven't seen any updates on eCAS.

I don't think it is late. If you wait after graduation, the policy may be changed or the stream may be cancelled. so as earlier as better.

But i am also thinking, what happens if I graduate before my application gets processed. Would that be a problem ?

He told me at this place they have paper report and not electronic one that's why it took long to reach...

Please update us when they update your e-cas for receiving medical results

Is there any information about the next cap period ( The one after the current one which finishes on April 30th 2014) ?

Many thanks !

Never late. After you graduate, is PhD stream your best choice? Cause I think this stream is slow.

I am guessing it probably is. If I end up working in BC then I could go for BC PNP as well. But I am not sure which province I would be working in yet. I don' t know if there are any other options.

I attended a seminar by a rep from the BC PNP, given at Univ of Victoria. They claimed the process is faster because they will 'push' your application along. However, it is also more expense because you are paying the provincial fee also. … and you still have to meet all of the Federal requirements.

Thanks, climate_modeller. It appears my case is second on the tracker in the Dec 2012 category after HTC2013+.
