I looked at FAQ #6: scan and email documents (other than police certificates) to: CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

Send original Police Certificates to (emphasis added):

It doesn't say to send other documents to that address. Could it mean that they only want other documents by email?

I am updating my RA/TA letter. I have one letter for TA signed by the graduate advisor for the department and one letter for RA signed by my academic supervisor. Both letters reference each other and both state that each is an update to the original (wholly lacking) reference letter.

Has anyone had experience with two reference letters? … one for RA and one for TA?

Last august I had sent them bank statements and an updated reference letter by email. They asked me to post the documents instead and I had mailed it on the above address. At that time the address was the same, only the name was CPP Ottawa.

Usually anything other than police certificates can be emailed. If they ask you to mail it, then you can use that address.

There is no hurry in paying it. I paid it 9 month ago after their request, and still waiting for pass request. It will not speed up your process.

I had two letters. One for RA and one for TA. The RA was signed by my supervisor while the TA was sgined by the department head.
Both letters were accepted.

Did you use RA as work experience?
How did you write the letter?

Yes, I used RA/TA as a work experience. I first sent one with my application which I had to update later inserting the infamous "assist" statement. I noticed it from GCMS notes that they did not give me points based on the first letter, which they later did based on the updated version.

I got PER same day as you but haven't been asked for documents, could you tell us if the proof of funds you provided was very close to the required amount or a couple of thousands more?
