Thanks a lot Stuck in Quebec. Very helpful. I am just wondering about one thing you said: "show them the document from CIC website that if the status is thesis evaluation, you can work full time on off campus".

I did many searches in the CIC website previously, but couldn't find such page. May you please give me a link to that page?

Hi Hamed

Can't find the link but I distinctly remember being advised this by out international student advisor and I reconfirmed with CIC by calling them on their hotline. Depends now on what HR requires and will accept.

I was wondering whether anyone here received a PCC (from home country) request after medicals? And do they always ask for a new one if more than one year has passed (for example, if you had submitted one along with the application)?

Hi All

I received my most recent GCMS notes today. The final evaluation was done by FA. Few pointers:-

- final score exactly at 67. (phew)
- accepted updated Schedule 3 and add on work experience post appplication.
- No points for 2 years of full time study.
- No points for post doc position. They don't take it as an arranged employment I guess.
-Security field blank.
-Medical sent not received.
- Criminality ok.


As a closing note, FA put in "However, I will request proof of funds to ensure compliance with 76(1) (b).

Tough cookie. Sending it proactively before they ask and delay my application. So until you get the PP request, they can ask or verify anything. I just want this thing to end. Too long and too much paperwork.

I have updated all my reference letters by my supervisors proactively. Also sent Bank statement for last 6 months proactively. My GCMS experience point was 0 on Nov 2.

Thanks Stuck. Yeah, I got a letter from my int. office that confirms that. But there is no official clarification on the CIC for that.
For your fund proof, wow, my guess came true then. They don't give it up til the end!

Nobody knows! We don't know if they are officer's names or names of departments. We only know that the preliminary assessment would be done by SL**** and the final assessment by FA****.

Not always. However, I believe anjuku got one. However, she received her passport request while she was waiting on her PCC...
