my god, do you suggest that I have to use such phrase like Mr. xxxx assisted me in doing .....? That is unbelieveable .....

Besides, GCMS notes showed that my job offer (till now will be a little bit over one year full time working experience) was attached to my files. I did not understand why they did not consider it as working experience.....

CRAZY!!!!
Yes, you do. And yes, it's nuts. And make sure you use "assist" and NOT "help". Someone included the lead statement and all of the right duties but used "help" instead of "assist" and got rejected.

Hello Guys
Do you have any idea what "leading statement" is?. It seems they are rejecting some people because of that.
When you look at any NOC description, it usually starts with a full sentence, and then says "duties include" blablabla.
The full sentence prior to the list of duties is the "lead statement".

Thanks man. Anyway, the MP told me I had to reapply for it. I won't apply under this stream, but I will apply under CEC.

I have updated my RA letter twice (both times I sent my updated RA letter with Canada post and email and I got the auto-reply from CIC that confirm they just received my email). Also, I met the MP to make ensure that CIC received my updated RA letters and attached them to my file. The MP has checked with them and told me that they have received and attached the updated RA letters to your file.
Now, just I want to know should I update my schedule 3 form?
I think it doesn't hurt to update your schedule 3 form. In the updated form, you can change the duration of your work experience as a RA according to your updated letter.

According to page 32 of op 6b they should give you 5 points for your relatives in Canada (http://www.cic.gc.ca/ENGLISH/RESOURCES/manuals/op/op06b-eng.pdf).

Relatives in Canada:
Award five points if the applicant or accompanying spouse or common- law partner has a relative (parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, child of a parent, child of a grandparent, or grandchild of a parent) who is residing in Canada and is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

You can email them and mention this part of the operation manual which clearly puts no age restriction for your child.

Good luck!

What!!! They should assessed your application on the old rules before May 4th, what about your spouse's education? Did they give you any points for that? I'd appreciate your prompt reply as Sydney didn't award me any points for both of my spouse's education and the baby!

That is really sucks! That was their response to his appeal email, they denied him those points although he applied before May 4th! Unfortunately, I am in the same boat too! Do you think I can get at least the spouse's points if I sent her IELTS report? As they seem they will not award us any adaptability points.

No worries. Make sure that the letter for CEC has the lead statement though ;-)

Sydney did not award me the points for my spouse's education as well...my application is still scheduled to be checked by someone from CPP Ottawa....

Hi man,

Postdoctoral fellow is in the titles of NOC 4011. I am going to apply for it under NOC 4011. Could you show the lead statements in NOC 4011? Sorry to bother you.

Re: GCSM

Thank you.
I am trying to do it. there is this question?
Is this Access to information act or privacy at?
Do you know which one I have to choose?
I chose Access to information act and then I chose corporate record and the it wants me to write detail regarding to the information being sought.
Is this what you did?
If so, what should I write here?

I think I am going to send my wife's IELTS report as well. Dunno what difference it will make though. Maybe they are not giving the adaptibility points until they get a proof of her english (or they might give some random stupid reasoning like that)

If you are doing it for yourself and you are currently in Canada (under study/work permit) then you can request under privacy act....its free...
Access to information is when you are in canada and are doing it for someone else who is not currently in canada...
