Hi Guys,
Just got email from CIC office, They rejected my application by job duties and responsibilities. The officer is also FA01772.
Actually, I prepared my RA reference letter using a template provided by my friend who successfully got his permanent residence by claiming the RA working experience.
It seems there are lots of rejections for the same reason in last few days. The PhD stream is really ridiculous. Can we find a solution together?
I am so sorry to hear that. There is a list of what we can do:
Someone can get advice on the work experience letter format including the leading statement and duties from
1) a lawyer, ( if you have a friend who works for a lawyer)
2) MP office, (you can complant to them, they know who is the right person to contacted, they willl help, as it is federal issue)
3) PhD stream program director
a) You can ask him / her to provide a template on the work experience that they are looking for Research and Teaching assisstants
b) You can ask him/ her for reconsideration of your application
c) You can ask him/ her to describe how they want the work experience letter to look like.
4) The minister office (You can complain and ask for the samethings in (3))
Please all fellows who got the rejection email, please consider two things:
1) Reconsideration letters– If the refusal was based on an error in fact or in law, and/or if that decision was not in accordance with the principles of procedural fairness, write to the Program Manager of the Canadian Visa Office to point out the errors and to request a reconsideration of the refusal decision;
2) Appeal – Wrongful refusals may, in certain instances, be appealed to the Federal Court of Canada or to the appropriate provincial court or, in the case of family sponsorships, to the Immigration Appeal Division.
the lastest two points are listed on http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-to-appeal-our-rejection-app-urgent-plssssssss-t96574.0.html
