Sorry to hear that. How many ta and ra hours do you have ? Why did you only get the minimum points for work experience?

Hi Jason, I am really sorry to hear that. That is the thing I worried before for the 5 points from adaptability of studying in Canada. I remember you chose NO the schedule 3 form, it still makes us confused whether this is the reason being refused.

The best thing to do now is to spend more time in preparing IELTS properly to get extra 2 or 4 points and get more work experience. You have a few years of work experience but it seems not being counted. I guess that we should collect and submit all the documents e.g. reference letter, tax returns, salary payroll, ect. Especially, the reference letter should include all the information strictly required from 7000 guide, otherwise, CIC will not consider and process it at all. :-\

I think they will NOT give us any adaptability points, given the amount of rejection we are getting in this part. The solution would be for you to get more point in the IELTS and the work experience. Another year of work XP plus 16 points in the ielts should give you 68 points.

So sorry to hear that. What did you click on the question 7. study in Canada in schedule 3 form Yes or No? It seems NO means giving up the consideration of these 5 points but we are not sure. If this question can be clarified, there still is a chance to re-submitted the application, but best thing is to get extra points from other aspects as other Phd friends suggested for safe pass 67.

GeoCanadian, congratulations I see that CIO now works much faster than before in processing the application (only 5 days before getting charged). Since your application seems pretty straightforward (that is, the total number of points is likely to be way above 67, even without any adaptability points), then you should expect PER pretty soon, maybe within the next month or so

There is no such requirement that I'm aware of. However, I assume that they may have some reservations if you work experience differ to much
from you field of studies. Nonetheless, If your XP is in type 0, A or B you should be fine.
In the case of self employment, you will need to prove that you did some work for someone during a period of time. Get any receipts and documents
that prove the work done, like a letter for you consultancy from the company you did the work for.
