If there is no title for a History teacher for elementary schools, so who teach them history?
However, you have two good points, but it needs a good officer who understands the context, not an officer who searches for the exact words!

I think I need to make a slight change in my letter:
[This is to certify that ******* has worked in this school as a History Teacher, Secondary School, from ***** to ******.]
Do the words 'secondary school' fit in the sentence or should be placed elsewhere??

The elementary school teachers, according to the NOC list, teach only basic skill subjects like Maths and English, and
they have mentioned that specialized subjects are taught by secondary school teachers. It's there in the job titles list.

Where should we include that?

I haven't heard any feedback from them since then. Recently I met a girl and we want to get married in near future. She is working and studying in another country. Could you please tell me if it is better to register our marriage now and add her to my application or do it after I become PR? She also may get admission from a university in Canada for Sept. 2014.

If married/ registered, update now, its easier. if you become PR alone, then you have to sponsor her as a spouse and will take additional time. A friend of mine added his spouse even after medical request and they asked for her info from scratch and he was delayed, but he was not in PhD stream. June 2012 means you should be hearing from them next month hopefully since all your documents are in place.

I ordered notes on Apr 19, still did not get it yet. I only got one email says "Your temporary request tracking number is xxxx. After your request has been registered, a new number will be assigned to your request.".

Never got the 2nd email about the new number. Is that right?

Hi all, I am new and just got several questions about application, hope some one could help me out.

(1) I just wonder what "Secondary education documents" includes? Some materials to prove high school graduation for a phd?
Is it a must to submit?

In the Schedule 3 form:
(2) My first question is about Assets, if I don't have a car and just rent an apartment, should the amount for assets be 0?
(3) Another question is how to fill in the "Main duties" on the last page of the form. Since the the space is quite limited, could I simply write "please refer to the reference letter"?

I got my notes after 30 days from request. I got a similar email as you, but there was no new number, just the final GCMS notes.
You will get the notes in the next week.

hi all,
i got some time now in between running around for PCCs to write some info that may be useful to some
I did send in an updated reference letter early this April and got confirmation that ottawa got it...the reference letter mentioned that i assisted my supervisor inthe analysis and interpretation of my experimental results. But i want to add that i did send all my RA contracts/TA contracts, T4A slips, And T4s with my initial application. I believe they do an overall assessment and not just based on the letter from your supervisor. Like Tyrus has always said, the more documents you can provide to prove your case, the better (as long as you don't contradict yourself!)
