Hi MJ2,MJ2 said:Hello all,
I sent my police clearance to CPPO. I only sent the English translation and now they have emailed me to send the original one as well.
Do I need to again translate it and send with original one or it should be enough to only send the original as they already have the translation?
Thanks asbereth,asbereth said:Hi MJ2,
Did you get document request, or did you send it proactively? I would say that, since they only asked for the original, and since they already attached the translation to your file, then it's probably okay to just send the original (though the paranoid me keeps saying that you should still attach the original, just in case). I think one of the members here did exactly that, but could not recall exactly who.
Congrats, man So they clubbed RPRF and medical requests together? My request for RPRF did not come with medical, so apparently things are always a bit different for different applicants (some people got requests for RPRF even before they got requests for medical).Shomo said:Hi Guys,
I had not checked this forum for a long time because of so many things happening in my life recently. But I thought I have to share this news. We got Medical and RPRF requests yesterday. It took them one and half year to process our application, but it seems that at last they got that long awaited police clearance certificate.
Thanks asbereth! Actually they came in separate emails and RPRF email got here earlier.asbereth said:Congrats, man So they clubbed RPRF and medical requests together? Just post them here, and I'll update the spreed sheet with your info.
Post your dates, nationality, number of applicants, ecas status, and kind of work experience.
Thanks!
I got my PER 2 weeks after my cc was cashed, so I think you will get yours this week at most hopefully.MAKSohag said:Guys,
CIC received my application on April 10, 2013. My credit card was charged on April 15, 2013. But I have not received my file number yet. However, in eCAS I can check the status of my application ("In Process: We received your application for permanent residence on April 10, 2013.") using my client ID.
Any suggestions on when I may get my file number?
BTW, I am from Bangladesh. My application has 2 persons- me and my spouse, and I have RA experience in back home and RA/TA experiences in Canada.
Thanks,
Congrats!Shomo said:Hi Guys,

Once you exceeded the maximum processing time, you can contact them and they are supposed to give you an answer. Wait to the next update of the processing times!beishidashuo said:Hi folks,
My application actually has been received for 14 months now, and the maximal processing time in our case is 15 months.
But I just checked my eCAS using UCI, and it still said "we received your application on .......". Nothing else. What should I do? Any suggestions? Thanks.
